Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

Organized jointly by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) and the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DIHK), with the support of the Turkish-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TATSO) and the German-Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AHK Türkiye), the 4th Turkish-German Economic Conference, TOBB Secretary General Mustafa Saraçöz met with Dr. Martin Wansleben, former Secretary General of the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Omar Choura, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Choura Investment Holding Group. ​

The TIR Committee of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) met via videoconference. During the meeting, applications from companies for admission to the TIR System and company files raised in the context of international transportation activities were discussed and decisions were made. ​

Hosted by the Medical Council of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), the Medical Device Sector Consultation Meeting, which assessed public procurement and supply processes in the medical device sector, was attended by Faik Yavuz, Treasurer of the TOBB Board of Directors, Hüseyin Çelik, President of the Turkish Medicines and Medical Devices Agency (TİTCK); Şinasi Candan, General Director of the State Supply Office (DMO); Prof. Dr. Bahar Aydınlı, Deputy General Director of Public Hospitals; Elif Tuğçe Çınar, Deputy General Director of Industry; and their teams, under the chairmanship of Council President Levent Mete Özgürbüz.​​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye University of Economics and Technology (TOBB ETÜ) was honored with the University-Business Collaboration Award as part of the YÖK 2026 Awards for Outstanding Achievement. The award was presented to TOBB ETÜ by President Erdoğan at the 2026-2027 Higher Education Academic Year Opening Ceremony held at the Presidential Complex.​

Yang Xiaoping, Vice President of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Zhejiang, and his delegation visited the TOBB İstanbul Service Building and met with Bahri Can Çalıcıoğlu, Special Advisor to the President.​

Edvar Mum, Chairman of the Turkish Free Zones Council under the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), visited Ayben Çınaroğlu, Senior Trade Advisor at the Spanish Embassy, and Trade Advisor Zhala Azizova.​​

The Board of Directors meeting of the European Association of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (Eurochambres), where M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), serves as Vice President, was held in Valencia. Mustafa Bayburtlu, Deputy Secretary General, attended the meeting on behalf of TOBB. ​

Seyit Ardıç, a member of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), attended the 8th Meeting of the ISEDAK National Coordination Committee, chaired by İbrahim Şenel, Head of the Strategy and Budget Office of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye. ​
