Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The 6th Türkiye-Germany Joint Economic and Trade Committee (JETCO) Meeting was held in Ankara with the participation of Katherina Reiche, Germany’s Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy, and Prof. Dr. Ömer Bolat, Minister of Trade.​

During the first five months of the year 2026 the number of newly established Companies and the number of sole proprietorships increased by 5,6% and 1,2% while the number of cooperatives decreased by 28,5%.​

Mehmet Büyüksimitci, a member of the TOBB Board of Directors, attended the meeting of the Association of the Balkan Chambers (ABC) held under the Romanian Presidency as part of Constanta Maritime Week and delivered the opening remarks.​​

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gülçin Türkmen Sarıyıldız, Chair of the Türkiye Health Services Council at the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), and Dr. Yusuf Ziya Yıldırım, Vice Chair of the Türkiye Health Services Council, visited Minister of Labor and Social Security Prof. Dr. Vedat Işıkhan at his office.​​

The “COP31 Green Zone Participation Information Webinar” was organized by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), the COP31 Business Ambassador, in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change.​​

The 5th Tashkent International Investment Forum took place on June 16–18, 2026, in Tashkent, the capital of the Republic of Uzbekistan.​​

The “Technology Initiative Program Introduction and Information Meeting,” organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry and Technology, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), and the Supreme Council of Organized Industrial Zones (OSBÜK), was held online. ​​

Organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Türkiye, the Insurance and Private Pension Regulation and Supervision Authority (SEDDK), and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), in collaboration with the Aegean Region Chamber of Industry and the İzmir Chamber of Commerce (İZTO), and hosted by the İzmir Metropolitan Municipality, the Insurance İzmir - Insurance Stakeholders Cooperation Fair and Summit opened its doors.​​

Tamer Kıran, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), attended the 69th General Assembly of the Turkish Banks Association (TBB). ​

The launch of the AI Transformation Program, which will be implemented in collaboration with the Ministry of Trade, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), Habitat Association, and Meta, took place in İstanbul.​
