Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

An online preparatory meeting was held to facilitate preparatory consultations among the working groups ahead of the “6th Türkiye-Germany Economic and Trade Partnership Committee (JETCO) Meeting,” scheduled to take place in Ankara on June 19, 2026.​

Tamer Kıran, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), attended the “AHK Türkiye Economic Conference” organized by the German-Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AHK Türkiye) in İstanbul. ​​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) held a meeting of the Paper and Paper Products Industry Council in İstanbul, chaired by Council President Orhan Öğücü and attended by TOBB Board Members Zeki Kıvanç and Engin Yeşil.​

Selçuk Öztürk, a member of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), attended the Türkiye Century Education Model: Language, Thought, and Values Congress held at the TOBB Twin Towers.​

Ali Kantur, Chairman of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Waste and Recycling Industry Council, paid a visit to Deputy Minister of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change Burak Demiralp at his office.​

The World ATA Carnet Council (WATAC) 2026 First Session Meeting was held in Paris, France, from June 3 to 5, 2026.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) organized a training program for Yelena Fayzrahmanova, Vice President of the Tatarstan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, from June 1 to 5, 2026, to provide information on TOBB’s structure and activities.​

The 137th General Assembly Meeting of the European Chambers of Commerce and Industry (EUROCHAMBRES), where M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), serves as Vice President, and the European Public Law Chambers (EPLC) meetings were held in Malta on June 4–5, 2026. Mustafa Bayburtlu, Deputy Secretary General of TOBB, attended the meetings on behalf of the organization.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) held the Türkiye Cement and Cement Products Council Executive Board Election and Council Meeting in Ankara, with the participation of industry representatives.​

The second meeting of the 2026 session of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Women Entrepreneurs Supreme Council was held at the TOBB İstanbul Service Building under the chairmanship of Nurten Öztürk, President of the TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council (KGK), with the participation of TOBB Board Member Işınsu Kestelli and members of the Supreme Council.​
