Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The number of capacity reports approved by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) in June 2025 remained at about the same level compared to June 2024 with 4,092 reports.​

The 3rd Meeting of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Women Entrepreneurs Supreme Board Meeting was held online chaired by Nurten Öztürk, President of TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council (KGK), with the participation of A. Saygın Baban, Head of TOBB Sectors and Entrepreneurship Department and members of the Supreme Council.​

The “National Occupational Health and Safety Council,” which was established to determine policies and strategies on occupational health and safety throughout the country, convened on July 4, 2025 under the chairmanship of Minister of Labor and Social Security Prof. Dr. Vedat Işıkhan. TOBB Board Member Seyit Ardıç and Deputy Secretary General Cengiz Delibaş attended the meeting on behalf of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye.​

Industry Information System (SBS) training was held for the Domestic Goods Certificate. The opening speeches of the meeting were made by Dr. İ.Pınar Nacak, Director of Commodity Exchanges of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) and Efe Ayden, Industry Manager. In the speeches, the importance of the Domestic Goods Certificate and the Domestic Goods Certificate Communiqué, which will enter into force as of 2026, were mentioned in the training. While it was emphasized that the necessary preparations were made for the transition of the exchanges to the system, information was given about what the members should do during the application, the duties and functions of the exchanges.​

A video conference meeting was held by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Industry Directorate Chemical Engineers in order to provide information about the Chemicals Sector within the framework of capacity reports organized in order to determine Türkiye’s industrial production power and to shed light on economic and strategic plans and programs.​

The “Capacity Report Expert Training,” which must be taken by those who will be assigned to issue the Capacity Report from the experts on the Chamber Expert lists, was held online.​

A coordination meeting was held in İzmir, one of the pilot provinces within the scope of the Deposit Management System to be implemented on a national scale, for public and private sector representatives on the field implementation, technical infrastructure and cooperation requirements of the Deposit Management System.​

Within the scope of the TOBB-YÖK Vocational School Education Cooperation Protocol, the first physical Protocol Coordination Board meeting was held with the participation of the relevant parties.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Tax Advisory Board convened via video conference method under the chairmanship of Fatih Dural, Chairman of the Board, with the participation of TOBB Board Member Zeki Kıvanç.​

The “artificial intelligence,” virtual reality,” and “social innovation - change management” training modules developed within the scope of the EULEP project and designed for company personnel were introduced to the Chambers/Exchanges and members.​
