Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The meeting of the Mining Council of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) was held under the chairmanship of Council President İbrahim Halil Kırşan, with the participation of TOBB Board Member Şaban A. Karamehmetoğlu, who is responsible for the Council, and Mustafa Koç and Uğur Mavi, Deputy Directors General of Guidance and Inspection at the Ministry of Labor and Social Security.​

Şahin Bilgiç, Chairman of the TOBB High Disciplinary Board, attended the Halal Expo, which was held as part of the “Russia–Islamic World: Kazan Forum 2026” in Kazan, the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia.​

Şahin Bilgiç, Chairman of the TOBB High Disciplinary Board, participated in the opening of the 6th International Chamber of Commerce and Industry Forum and the panel discussion titled “The Digital Transformation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry System in Russia. Experience in Applying Artificial Intelligence Technologies in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry System.”​

As part of the Informal Summit of Leaders of the Organization of Turkic States, the Turkic World Business Forum was organized in Astana, the capital of the Republic of Kazakhstan, hosted by the National Entrepreneurs’ Association of Kazakhstan, the current chair of the Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Turkic States (TCCİ).​

The TOBB Türkiye E-Commerce Council Meeting was held on May 12, 2026, at the TOBB Twin Towers with strong participation from representatives of the public and private sectors.​

Faik Yavuz, Treasurer of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), attended the “2025 E-Commerce Outlook Report Launch Event” held at the Ministry of Trade Conference Hall.​

The Türkiye Housewares Council Meeting, organized by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), was held online with the participation of TOBB Executive Board Vice Chairman Ali Kopuz and chaired by Council Chairman T. Murat Kolbaşı.​

The “Household Waste Sector Assessment Meeting,” held to evaluate the current status of household waste disposal facilities operating in the recycling sector; was held at the TOBB Twin Towers under the chairmanship of Ali Kantur, Chairman of the Waste and Recycling Industry Council, with the participation of Nevzat Şatıroğlu, Deputy Minister of Energy and Natural Resources; Kutluhan Taşkın, Deputy Chairman of the Presidency’s Strategy and Budget Office; and Zeki Kıvanç, Member of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB).​

Organized by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) and the Ministry of Trade, and hosted by the Samsun Chamber of Commerce and Industry (STSO), the Black Sea Region Information Meeting of the Commercial Registry Directorates assessed recent developments in commercial registry practices.​

The Automotive Industry Council of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) convened under the chairmanship of Council President Cengiz Eroldu, with the participation of Şekib Avdagiç, TOBB Executive Board Vice Chairman responsible for the Council.​
