Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

In accordance with the Domestic Goods Communiqué (SGM 2014/35) prepared by the Ministry of Industry and Technology in accordance with Article 63 of the Public Procurement Law No. 4734 and published in the Official Gazette dated September 13, 2014 and numbered 29118, 1,298 Domestic Goods Certificates were approved by TOBB in August 2022.​

The Second Session of the WP.30 Technical Implementation Body (TIB) of the United Nations Economic Commission for the European Union (BMAEK), which is the authorized body within the scope of digitization of TIR Transactions (eTIR), was held physically and online between 31 August 2022 and 2 September 2022.​

The number of capacity reports approved by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) in August 2022 increased by 0.3% (16 units) compared to August 2021 (4599 units) and reached 4,615 units.​

The fourth meeting of the TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council of 2022 was held online with the participation of TOBB Board Member Cengiz Günay and TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council President Nurten Öztürk.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Vice President Ayhan Zeytinoğlu participated online from İstanbul in the panel on “The Agenda for Europe” as part of the “Intelligence on the World, Europe and Italy” forum organized by “The European House-Ambrosetti” on 3-4 September 2022 in Italy.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Automotive Trade Council meeting was held at the TOBB İstanbul Service Building under the chairmanship of Council President Yüksel Mermer.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Board Member Zeki Kıvanç attended the Union of Chambers of Certified Public Accountants and Certified Public Accountants of Türkiye (TÜRMOB) 21st Accounting Congress. ​

Within the scope of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, a 'Türkiye-U.S. Defense and Aerospace Workshop' was held.​

TOBB Provincial Council of Women Entrepreneurs (KGK) Central Anatolia (7th Region) and Aegean (10th Region) Regional Meeting was held online chaired by TOBB KGK President Nurten Öztürk.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Software Assembly meeting was held under the Council President Ertan Barut with the participation of TOBB Board Member Mehmet Büyüksimitci to discuss the issues on the agenda.​
