Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Tax Advisory Council of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) convened via video conference on November 16, 2021 under the chairmanship of Council President Fatih Dural. ​

Accreditation Officer Training Program, which started with 10 Accredited Chambers/Exchanges selected within the scope of Chamber/Exchange Accreditation System efforts, continues with 1st Group 1st Module trainings strategic planning training.​

The Meeting of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Turkish Garment and Apparel Industry Council was held in İstanbul to discuss the latest developments in the sector with the participation of TOBB Board Member Zeki Kıvanç, chaired by Council President Onur Fayat.​

The e-commerce and retail sectors, headed by Ozan Acar, President of the TOBB e-Commerce Council, and Alp Önder Özpamukçu, President of the TOBB Retail Council, met via videoconference on November 10th.​

Chaired Nurten Öztürk, Women Entrepreneurs Council President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), with the attendances of TOBB Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Council Executive Committee Members and Provincial Council Members, the 21st TOBB Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Board Value-Adding Women Entrepreneurs Meeting was held with TOBB Çanakkale and TOBB Rize Women Entrepreneur Councils.​

Hosted by Benedicto Yujuico, President of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI), PCCI's Philippine Chamber Development Institute (PhilCDI) held the “National Chamber Management Forum” online on November 16, 2021.​

Within the scope of chamber/exchange accreditation system efforts, Process Management and Risk Analysis Training for 15th and 16th Term Chambers/Exchanges, which are undergoing the accreditation process, was held at the Union Center on November 8-9, 2021.​

Nurten Öztürk, TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council President, attended the Subcommittee Meeting of the Council Commission on Equal Opportunities for Women and Men held on November 11th.​

The 2nd Meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Arbitration Center was held online. TOBB Vice President Tamer Kıran, TOBB ETU Board of Trustees Member Cemil Çiçek and Haluk Kabaalioğlu attended the meeting, which was an important step for the launch of the OIC Arbitration Center in Istanbul, a matter raised by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at the OIC Turkey Presidency. ​

Cengiz Günay, Member of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), gave the keynote speech at the Milk and Wine Industry Promotion Conference of Bosnia and Herzegovina in İstanbul, coordinated by the Consulate General of Bosnia and Herzegovina in İstanbul and the Chamber of Foreign Trade of Bosnia and Herzegovina.​
