Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

Chaired by Nurten Öztürk, Women Entrepreneurs Council President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), the 20th meeting of the TOBB Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Council, Value-Adding Women Entrepreneurs Meeting was held with the participation of the Executive Committee Members and Provincial Council Members, TOBB Bursa and TOBB Sakarya Women Entrepreneurs Councils.​

The 26th United Nations Climate Change Conference is underway in Glasgow. In this context, a panel titled “Towards Zero Emission - Initiatives of the Turkish Private Sector,” was held by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) in the side events organized.​

The Climate Control Council of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) convened at TOBB Twin Towers under the chairmanship of Council President Zeki Poyraz.​

With the decision taken by the National Energy Efficiency Action Plan (UEVEP) Monitoring and Steering Board, a workgroup has been established on "Evaluation of Industrial Waste Heat" in coordination with the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB).​

TOBB Bolu Women Entrepreneurs Council Chairman Emine Yücel, who carries out her work under the Coordination of Bolu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, will be hosting the 8th annual Meeting on November 5-6, 2021. Regional East Marmara Region meeting was held.​

Turkey-TRNC Chamber of Commerce Forum Joint Meeting was held in Girne on November 4th. TOBB Board Member and Co-Chair of the Turkish Side of the Turkey-TRNC Chamber of Commerce Forum M. Cihat Lokmanoğlu and Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Commerce Board Member and Co-Chair of the TRNC Side of the Turkey-TRNC Chamber of Commerce Forum Omaç Cin chaired the meeting.​

Accreditation Officer Training Program starting with 10 Accredited Chambers/Exchanges selected within the scope of Chamber/Exchange Accreditation System efforts 1st Group 1st Module trainings started with Process Management Training.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Casting Industry Council meeting was held via video conference with the participation of TOBB Vice President Salih Zeki Murzioğlu and the participation of the Council President Uğur Kocaoğlu, with the participation of Ahmet Köle, head of the Department of Permits and Altitudes of the General Directorate of Forestry, with the great interest of high-level representatives of the private sector and non-governmental organizations.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Turkey Automotive Industry Council meeting was convened under the chairmanship of Council President Cengiz Eroldu with the participation of TOBB Board Member Davut Çetin.​

Aslı Çalık, head of the Transport and Logistics Systems Department of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), has been re-elected as President of the Property Transport Council (CTM), which is part of the Geneva-based International Road Transport Association (IRU).​
