Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

Ersin Kaşka, Co-Chair of the Turkish-Mongolian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Forum and President of the Gerede Chamber of Commerce and Industry, met with Enkhbayar Davaatseren, CEO of Darkhan Leather Company which operates in Mongolia and is an Advisor to the President of Mongolia. TOBB and officials from Mongolia's National Chamber of Commerce and Industry attended the meeting.​

Turkey-TRNC Chamber of Commerce Forum meeting took place. Turkish Side Co-Chairman and TOBB Board Member M. Cihat Lokmanoğlu and TRNC Side Co-Chairman Omaç Cin co-chaired the meeting; both sides’ Vice Presidents Ayla Harp, Ferudun Torunoğlu, Necat Yüksel and Saber Andır also attended.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Fairs Committee convened via video conference chaired by TOBB Board Vice President Salih Zeki Murzioğlu.​

Prior to accreditation certification audits scheduled for March-April 2021, accreditation development visits Zoom were organized using the 1st, 2nd, 5th, 7th, 10th and 13th Term Accredited Chambers/Exchanges.​

Alternative Financing Methods for SMEs: Factoring and Leasing Information Seminar was held online with the organization of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB). The opening speeches of the seminar were held by TOBB Board Member Öztürk Oran and Chairman of the Association of Financial Institutions Aynur Eke, while the information panel was attended by Hasan Çağlayan Dündar, Head of the Real Sector R&D and Implementation Department, Cahit Ceren, Director of the SME Research and Consulting Center, Ahmet Candan, Secretary General of the FKB. Hakan Gülelçe and FKB Deputy Secretary General Filiz Unal.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Turkey Durable Consumer Goods Council October meeting was held via video conference under the chairmanship of TOBB Board Member Oğuzhan A. Sadıkoğlu and Council President Fatih Kemal Ebiçlioğu.​

The first meeting of the European Union Green Agreement Workgroup, established within the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), was held.​

The number of newly established companies, the number of cooperatives increased by 13,38% and 11,81% while and the number of sole proprietorships decreased by 0,97% according to the previous month.​

TOBB Turkey Free Zones Council convened via video conference under TOBB Executive Board Vice President Ayhan Zeytinoğlu and TOBB Board Member M. Cihat Lokmanoğlu.​

The meeting of the Turkish Energy Council was held under the chairmanship of Council President İhsan Akyol with the participation of Zeki Kıvanc, member of the TOBB Board of Directors responsible for the Council. TOBB Board Member Zeki Kıvanç relayed TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu’s greetings, stating that close monitoring of the problems of the sector was maintained during the pandemic.​
