Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The meeting of the Turkish Energy Council was held under the chairmanship of Council President İhsan Akyol with the participation of Zeki Kıvanc, member of the TOBB Board of Directors responsible for the Council. TOBB Board Member Zeki Kıvanç relayed TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu’s greetings, stating that close monitoring of the problems of the sector was maintained during the pandemic.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Patent and Trademark Deputies Council President Kemal Yamankaradeniz, together with the accompanying delegation, visited the Turkish Patent and Trademark Authority President Prof. Dr. Habip Asan.​

In order to inform the participants of the Soft-Away HISER Project, carried out with the support of the Ministry of Commerce and the TOBB organization, with the participation of the Council Members, information was provided by Fatih Aydın, head of the Department of Free Zones, Foreign Investment and Services Of the Ministry of Commerce, and Tahir Dingil, Trade Expert, about the incentives available to the software sector and project participants.​

The meeting of the Turkey Cement and Cement Products Council was held via video conference under the chairmanship of Council President Tamer Saka and with the participation of TOBB Deputy Secretary General Cengiz Delibaş with the intense interest of senior representatives of private sector and non-governmental organizations.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Turkish Road Passenger Transport Council convened via video conference chaired by TOBB Board Member Responsible for the Council TOBB Executive Board Vice President Tamer Kıran and Council President Mustafa Yıldırım.​

Within the scope of the regulation made in the regulations of construction works, goods purchase tenders, service purchase tenders and consultancy tenders, a consultation meeting was held in order to match the Unit Price Tariffs (Item Numbers) numbers of the European Community Industrial Product List (Prod Com) and the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization and to update the domestic product lists more clearly.​

The Memorandum of Understanding on the establishment of the “Turkey-Tatarstan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Forum” was signed by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan in Izmir.​

Prior to the Accreditation Certification Audits scheduled for March-April 2021, Accreditation Development Visits are being conducted with Accredited Chambers/Exchanges of the 1st, 2nd, 5th, 7th, 10th and 13th Terms.​

Within the scope of chamber/commodity exchange 15th and 16th Term accreditation system efforts. Strategic Planning, ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System and Process Management trainings were carried out in the newly included Chambers/Exchanges.​

The Meeting of the Turkish Cosmetics and Cleaning Products Industry Council was held with the participation of Cengiz Günay, member of the TOBB Board of Directors in charge of the council, with the great interest of senior representatives of public, private sector and non-governmental organizations under the chairmanship of Council President Ahmet Pura.​
