Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

An evaluation meeting was held via videoconference about the "Virtual Tourism Forum," which is planned to be held in the first half of 2021 in cooperation with UNWTO and TOBB, of which the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) is a Board Member and an Affiliate Member. During the meeting, the future of the tourism sector and cooperation with the United Nations World Tourism Organization were discussed by exchanging ideas about the content of the event.​

The number of capacity reports approved by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) in December 2020 decreased by 10% (450 units) compared to December 2019 (4,508 units) to 4,058 units.​

The fourth of the 'TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Board Sector Meetings' organized with the participation of the Members of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Council was held for the insurance sector.​

The Tax Advisory Council of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) was convened by video conference on December 29th, 2020 under the chairmanship of Fatih Dural, Council President, with the participation of TOBB Board Member Zeki Kıvanç. ​

Trainings on “Disaster Resilience” and “Disaster Awareness” were organized via videoconference for chambers/exchanges.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB)Vice President Tamer Kıran attended the Digikamp Digital Transformation Competition promotion meeting held at the Presidential Dolmabahçe Office.​

TOBB Turkey Automotive Supply Industry Council meeting was held via video conference under the chairmanship of TOBB Vice President Ayhan Zeytinoğlu and Council President Alper Kanca.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Fairs Committee convened via video conference under the chairmanship of TOBB Vice President Salih Zeki Murzioğlu. ​

The third of the TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council Sector Meetings organized with the participation of the Members of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Council was held to discuss the education sector.​

In the face of extraordinary situations such as pandemics and disasters, chambers/exchanges are struggling along with the whole world since last year, highlighting how important it is to be prepared and to ensure the continuity of their business and services offered to their members.​
