TOBB Turkey Chemical Industry Council, chaired by Council Chairman Timur Erk convened at the TOBB Istanbul Service Building to discuss current issues. ​

TOBB Vice President Ali Kopuz and TOBB Board Treasurer Faik Yavuz took part in the trade delegation accompanying Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Bekir Pakdemirli and Deputy Minister of Commerce Fatih Metin's official visit to Sudan on September 8-12, 2018. On September 9th, Kopuz and Yavuz attended the introductory meeting with the Minister and Deputy Minister, and later attended the conversation meeting as well as the Sudan-Turkey Economic Forum. About 140 people participated in the forum. ​

Attending the business dinner hosted by German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DIHK) in Berlin were Germany's Minister of Economy, Peter Altmaier, DIHK President Eric Schweitzer, DIHK CEO Dr. Paul Schmidt. Martin Wansleben, Vice President of Eurochambres Stefan Müchler, Eurochambres Secretary General Arnaldo Abruzzini, Federal Chancellery and the Ministry of Economy senior bureaucrats and Germany's leading business organizations, industrialists and business people.​

Various Chamber / Commodity Exchange Chairperson affiliated with TOBB attended the “Commemoration of the Conquest of Anatolia: Malazgirt 1071 Program” held in Malazgirt on the 947th anniversary of the victory of the Malazgirt Victory on 26 August 2018. ​

TOBB Vice President Ali Kopuz participated in the 6th AK Party Ordinary Grand Congress held at the Ankara Sports Hall. ​

During his official visit to Ankara, General Evariste Ndayishimiye, the Secretary General of the ruling party of Burundi, visited TOBB and met with TOBB Vice President Tamer Kıran. Burundi's Ambassador to Ankara, Joel Nkurabagaya, and representatives of the Turkish private sector also attended the meeting where an exchange of views on the development of trade and economic relations between Turkey and Burundi took place. ​

TOBB Board Vice President Salih Zeki Murzioğlu visited the Ünye Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Ünye Commodity Exchange, Fatsa Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Fatsa Commodity Exchange due to the flood disaster in Fatsa and Ünye districts of Ordu.​

TOBB Vice Chairman Ali Kopuz attended the General Assembly of the Press Ad Agency (BİK). ​

TOBB Board Member Hakan Ülken, in his speech at the Insurance Agents Sector Assembly, stated that the insurance sector has achieved many firsts, “You have set up a structure that is a role model in other sectors.You have shown everyone how to achieve the best possible professional discipline and vocational training.”​

Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Board Member Davut Çetin, attended the opening of the Turkey Festival held in Moscow for the second time this year.​
