Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

TOBB Turkey Telecommunications Council unanimously elected Secretary General of the Association of Free Telecommunication Operators (TELKODER) of Rıdvan Uğurlu as Telecommunications Council Chairman. During the council election meeting Chair of the Association of Turkish Informatics Industry (TUBİSAD) Kübra Erman Karaca was appointed Vice Chair.​

TOBB Board Member Yahya Toplu attended the Media Oscars Award Ceremony organized by the Radio and Television Journalists Association (RTGD).​

The first meeting of the new term of the Turkish Retail Council was held with the participation of high level representatives of the private sector and non-governmental organizations under the chairmanship of Council Chair Mehmet T. Nane.​

12th Institutional Development Program training was conducted with the attendance of 52 personnel from 20 Chambers and Commodity Exchange, TOBB and Vocational Qualification and Documentation Centers Inc. at the TOBB Twin Towers on April 21-22, 2017.​

TOBB Turkey Mining Council, under Council President Ismet Kasapoğlu, visited, Deputy Undersecretary of the Ministry of Forestry and Water Affairs İbrahim Çiftçi.​

Ender Yorgancılar, TOBB Vice President stated that after the April 16th referendum, Turkey expects economic uncertainty to decrease and foreseeability to increase.​

The number of newly established companies, cooperatives and sole proprietorships increased by 9,44%, %7,58 and 22,87% respectively according to the previous month.​

TOBB Board Treasurer Faik Yavuz attended the Target Market China Meeting organized by TİMAKADEMİ at the Ministry of Economy Conference Hall. ​

TOBB Board Treasurer Faik Yavuz, President of the Supreme Court of Appeals Ismail Rüştü Cirit and President of the Justice Academy of Turkey Yilmaz Akçil attended the “Boundaries of legal review in regards to appeal examination of Supreme Court following appeal reform in Turkish law” symposium held at the TOBB Twin Towers.​

11th Corporate Development Program Training was conducted with the attendance of 22 Chambers and Commodity Exchange personnel and 57 TOBB personnel at the Union Center on the 14th and 15th April, 2017.​
