Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Telecommunications Council, chaired by Council President Mustafa Kemal Turnacı, convened at the TOBB İstanbul Service Building with the participation of TOBB Board Member Tuncay Yıldırım, Deputy Minister of Trade Mahmut Gürcan, and Director General of Consumer Protection and Market Surveillance Avni Dilber.​

Another important step has been taken toward preserving Tunceli’s local values, highlighting producers’ efforts, and transforming local products into economic value. The Presentation Ceremony for the Tunceli Pülümür Underground Salt Geographical Indication Registration Certificate was held in Tunceli with broad participation from public institutions, professional organizations, producers, and invited guests.​

The BİGG Garage program, carried out in collaboration with TOBB ETÜ, ASELSAN, and KTO Karatay University with the support of TÜBİTAK, will provide entrepreneurs with 1,350,000 lira in investment support. Online applications have begun.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) has published the “2027 Main Trade Fair Calendar,” which serves as the lifeblood of the business world and trade. According to the calendar, a total of 323 trade fairs, 99 of which will be international, will be organized across Türkiye next year.​

The Tax Advisory Board of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) met under the chairmanship of Board Chairman Fatih Dural, with the participation of TOBB Board Member Zeki Kıvanç.​

The “TOBB Orientation Program for Assistant Experts of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change,” organized with the participation of assistant experts from the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change, was held on August 28, 2026, hosted by our Association.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Housewares Council, chaired by Council President Murat Kolbaşı and attended by TOBB Executive Board Vice Chairman Ali Kopuz, was held online on August 31, 2026.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Hardware Industry Council held a meeting chaired by Council President Çetin Tecdelioğlu, with the participation of Ender Yorgancılar, TOBB Executive Board Vice Chairman responsible for the Council.​

As part of the Nigerian Export Surveillance Scheme (NESS) organized by the Trade Division of the Central Bank of Nigeria, a delegation led by Dr. Olakunle D. Olaniran, Director of the Nigerian Food and Drug Administration and Control Agency (NAFDAC) visited the Istanbul Service Building of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) and met with Bahri Can Çalıcıoğlu, Special Advisor to the TOBB President.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Medical Council Meeting was attended by Seyit Ardıç, Member of the TOBB Board of Directors; Hüseyin Çelik, President of the Turkish Medicines and Medical Devices Agency (TİTCK); Hakkı Karabörklü, Director General of Product Safety and Inspection at the Ministry of Trade; Mustafa Gümüş, Director General of Customs at the Ministry of Trade; Eray Kaplan and Ufuk Sovuksu, Deputy Chairmen of the Turkish Medicines and Medical Devices Agency (TİTCK); Murat Yazgan, Deputy Director General for Industry at the Ministry of Industry and Technology; and Muhammed M. Öztürk, Head of the Medical Device Inspection Department at TİTCK, under the chairmanship of Council Chairman Levent Mete Özgürbüz.​
