Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The training program titled “Empowering Communities Through Microfinance,” organized by the Islamic Chamber Training Academy (ICTA), was held on June 29–30, 2026, hosted by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB). ​​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Transportation and Logistics Council convened with the participation of TOBB Deputy Secretary General Cengiz Delibaş, TOBB Director General of Sectors and Entrepreneurship A. Saygın Baban, General Director of Transportation Services Regulation Çağlar Tabak, Deputy General Directors Giray Yüksel and Kerim Cicioğlu, Hasan Boz, and Department Heads Sinan Oğuz, Buğrahan Açıkgöz, Zafer Kögmen, Cengiz Çakmak, and Ali Rıza Çelik, and was chaired by Council President Şerafettin Aras at the TOBB Twin Towers. ​​

The 72nd Financial Committee Meeting of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development, the Roundtable on Sustainable Agriculture, a presentation by Jani Ibrahim, President of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (NACCIMA), and the panels on “Innovation & Entrepreneurship: the “Young and Women Entrepreneurs” panel, and the “Strengthening Chambers’ Capacity for Sustainable Economic Development” panel were held at the TOBB Twin Towers. ​

Ali Kopuz, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) and Member of the Board of Directors of the Union of Turkish Chambers of Commerce and Industry (TCCI), received a delegation led by Mergen Gurdov, President of the Turkmenistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, at the TOBB Istanbul Service Building.​​

Ozan Acar, Chairman of the TOBB E-Commerce Sector Council, attended the 4th China International Supply Chain Expo, held in Beijing, People’s Republic of China, from June 22 to 26, 2026.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Retail Council Meeting was held at the TOBB İstanbul Building, with the participation of TOBB Board Member Cengiz Günay and chaired by TOBB Türkiye Retail Council Chairman Alp Önder Özpamukçu.​​

The meeting of the Food Industry Council of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) was held online, chaired by Council President Necdet Buzbaş and attended by TOBB Board Member Işınsu Kestelli.​​​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Tourism Council Meeting took place in Ankara, with the participation of TOBB Board of Directors members Ali Çandır and Hakan Ülken, and moderated by Council Chairman Erkan Yağcı.​​

The COP31 Private Sector Envoy, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), participated in high-level meetings and events held in London as part of London Climate Action Week (LCAW) 2026, conducting a series of meetings with representatives of international organizations and the business community.​​

The 7th Official Meeting of the IPARD III Program Monitoring Committee was held in İzmir on June 23–24, 2026. Dr. Pınar Nacak, Director of Exchanges, attended the meeting on behalf of TOBB. Nacak presented the IPARD II Ex-post Evaluation and provided assessments regarding project applications and ongoing projects under the IPARD III Program. ​
