Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Turkey-Oman Roundtable Meeting was hosted by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) with the participation of Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion of Oman Qais Mohammed Al Yousef, TOBB Board Member Faik Yavuz, and TOBB Board Member Seyit Ardıç.​

During the first eleven months of the year 2025 the number of newly established Companies and the number of cooperatives decreased by 1,8% and 32,3% while the number of sole proprietorships increased by 11,7% according to the same period of the year 2024.​

As part of the Chamber/Exchange Accreditation System activities, a Quality Management System Basic Documentation and Process Management Training was organized at TOBB on December 17-18, 2025, for the new Accreditation Officers and Secretaries General of Accredited Chambers/Exchanges.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) TIR Committee convened for its final meeting of 2025 via video conference, chaired by Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors Tamer Kıran and attended by TIR Committee members.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Retail Council held its final meeting of 2025 online on December 16, 2025. The meeting began with opening remarks by Cengiz Günay, Member of the TOBB Board of Directors, and Adem Başar, Director General of Domestic Trade at the Ministry of Trade.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Pharmaceutical Industry Council meeting was held in İstanbul, chaired by Council President Nezih Barut, with the participation of TOBB Board Member Seyit Ardıç, representatives of the Uzbekistan Pharmaceutical Network Development Agency, and representatives of the Uzbekistan pharmaceutical industry sector.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Waste and Recycling Industry Council meeting was held in Ankara at the TOBB Twin Towers, chaired by Council President Ali Kantur, with the participation of TOBB Executive Board Vice President Ender Yorgancılar, TOBB Executive Board Members Zeki Kıvanç and İbrahim Burkay.​

The Consultation Meeting on the Regulation on Fire Protection of Buildings was held in Ankara with the participation of Banu Aslan, Director General of Professional Services; Murat Bayram, Deputy Director General of Professional Services; Ali Çandır, Member of the TOBB Board of Directors; and Pakize Oya Narin, Müberra Eresin, and Bahadır Yaşık, Deputy Chairpersons of the TOBB Türkiye Tourism Council.​

The Joint Consultation Meeting of the Turkish International Contracting Services Council and the Turkish Technical Consultancy Council was held at TOBB Twin Towers.​

The second training session on the Implementation Principles for Issuing Domestic Product Certificates was held online on December 13, 2025.​
