Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Vice President Ali Kopuz attended the “New Perspectives in Türkiye-ASEAN Economic and Trade Relations Conference” organized by the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK) online.​

TOBB Board Member Zeki Kıvanç attended the General Assembly Meeting of the Trade Facilitation Coordination Committee. At the meeting, information was provided about the Trade Facilitation Coordination Committee Workgroups’ Meetings. Zeki Kıvanç conveyed his opinions, suggestions and evaluations on the topics of the private sector to the participants, especially the Ministry of Trade. ​

TOBB Muğla Women Entrepreneurs Council, which carries out its activities under the coordination of Muğla Chamber of Commerce and Industry, held an Aegean Region Meeting of TOBB Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Council with the participation of Regional Representative Esen Türker, regional provincial presidents and board members.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Cosmetics and Hygiene Products Industry Council Meeting was held in İstanbul with the participation of TOBB Board Member Cengiz Günay under the chairmanship of Council President Ahmet Pura.​

The 94th session of the TIR Executive Board (TIRExB) of the United Nations Economic Commission for the European Union (UNECE), which consists of 9 members tasked with supporting and directing the implementation of the TIR system at national and international levels and representing the Ministry of Trade, was held on 5-6 December 2022.​

The Workgroup of the Enlargement and Neighbourhood Policy Committee of the Union of European Chambers of Commerce and Industry (EUROCHAMBRES), of which TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu is the Vice President, met at the TOBB Brussels Office under the chairmanship of TOBB EU and Foreign Relations Department Head Mustafa Bayburtlu.​

Women entrepreneurs who received awards in the categories of Most Environmentally Friendly Women Entrepreneur and Most Digitalized Women Entrepreneurs in Turkey's Entrepreneurial Women Power Contest came together at a meeting held with the participation of the Chairmen and Members of the Executive Committee of the TOBB Provincial Council of Women Entrepreneurs.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) First Legal Counsel Dr. İbrahim Bayar presented a paper on the TOBB Arbitration Center at the “Seminar Program on Mediation and Current Developments in Arbitration for the Public Workgroup on Arbitration” organized by the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey, Directorate General of Law and Legislation. ​

According to the Domestic Goods Communiqué (SGM 2014/35) prepared by the Ministry of Industry and Technology in accordance with Article 63 of the Public Procurement Law No. 4734 and published in the Official Gazette dated September 13, 2014 and numbered 29118, 1295 Domestic Goods Certificates were approved by TOBB in November 2022.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Venture Capital Council convened at the İstanbul Service Building under the chairmanship of TOBB Board Member Mehmet Büyüksimitci to elect the Presidency of the Council and to make a general assessment of the sector.​
