Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

Within the scope of chamber/exchange accreditation system efforts, Process Management and Risk Analysis Training for 15th and 16th Term Chambers/Exchanges, which are undergoing the accreditation process, was held at the Union Center on November 8-9, 2021.​

Nurten Öztürk, TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council President, attended the Subcommittee Meeting of the Council Commission on Equal Opportunities for Women and Men held on November 11th.​

The 2nd Meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Arbitration Center was held online. TOBB Vice President Tamer Kıran, TOBB ETU Board of Trustees Member Cemil Çiçek and Haluk Kabaalioğlu attended the meeting, which was an important step for the launch of the OIC Arbitration Center in Istanbul, a matter raised by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at the OIC Turkey Presidency. ​

Cengiz Günay, Member of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), gave the keynote speech at the Milk and Wine Industry Promotion Conference of Bosnia and Herzegovina in İstanbul, coordinated by the Consulate General of Bosnia and Herzegovina in İstanbul and the Chamber of Foreign Trade of Bosnia and Herzegovina.​

Aydın is the 9th stop of the Heroines of Entrepreneurship Project roadshow implemented with the support of Arçelik Retail Academy in cooperation with the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Women Entrepreneurs Council and Beko.​

Faik Yavuz, Treasurer of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), attended the “Turkey Cereals Congress 2021” organized by the Land Crops Office (TMO) and the Turkish Federation of Flour Industrialists (TUSAF) in Antalya. ​

TOBB Young Entrepreneurs Council Regional Meeting was held in Kahramanmaraş with the participation of Kahramanmaraş, Gaziantep, Adıyaman, Şanlıurfa, Adana, Mersin Young Entrepreneurs Council Presidents.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Ceramics and Refractory Industry Council met via video conference to elect the Presidential Council under the chairmanship of TOBB Deputy Secretary General Cengiz Delibaş and to make an overview of the sector.​

The Meeting of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Retail Council was held via video conference with the participation of TOBB Board Member Cengiz Günay, Head of Retail Trade Department of the Ministry of Commerce General Directorate of Internal Trade Burak Kaplan, and senior representatives of private sector and non-governmental organizations under the chairmanship of Council President Alp Önder Özpamukçu.​

Ersin Kaşka, Co-Chair of the Turkish-Mongolian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Forum and President of the Gerede Chamber of Commerce and Industry, visited Mongolia's Ambassador to Ankara, Gombosuren Munkhbayar, at his office.​
