Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) met with the participation of Turkish Financial Technologies Council, TOBB Board Member Mahmut Özgener and Council President Koray Bahar, Vice President of the Presidential Finance Office Murat Ali Çengelci, Vice President of the Competition Authority Dr. Faik Metin Tiryaki, MASAK Vice President Ersin Başar Ekmekci and related bureaucrats.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Turkey Chemical Industry Council met under the chairmanship of the TOBB Vice President Ayhan Zeytinoğlu and Council President Timur Erk.​

The final statement of the Palandöken Entrepreneurship Summit and the Consultation Meeting of the Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Boards of the Eastern Anatolia Region, organized by Erzurum Chamber of Commerce and Industry in partnership with TOBB Erzurum Young Entrepreneurs Board, was shared with the press and public.​

Faik Yavuz, Treasurer of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), said in his speech at TOBB University of Economics and Technology (TOBB ETU) 2020-2021 Academic Year Graduation Ceremony that they are together with turkey's best engineers and young people who will shape Turkey's future, “TOBB ETU is a project to bring to our country a new generation of Turkish business world, free thinking, knowledge seeking, rapid learning, technology production and inventing.”​

TOBB Turkey Mining Council President İbrahim Halil Kırşanmet with a delegation consisting of the accompanying Council members Ibrahim Alimoğlu, Ali Emiroğlu, Mehmet Yılmaz, met with Forestry General Manager Bekir Karacabey and Deputy General Manager Hayati Özgür.​

The July meeting of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Beverage Industry Council was held via video conference under the chairmanship of Council President Ozan Diren.​

Within the scope of the Women's Entrepreneurship activities carried out by Malkara Chamber of Commerce and Industry, members of the Executive Committee of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Tekirdağ Women Entrepreneurs, Voluntary Women Entrepreneurs, Non-Governmental Organizations, Tekirdağ Metropolitan Municipality, Malkara Municipality and Tekirdağ Chamber/Exchanges and the Limited Responsible “My Thrace” Women's Initiative Production and Business Cooperative, which was established with the support of the mayors, were opened with a ceremony.​

According to the Domestic Goods Communiqué (SGM 2014/35), prepared by the Ministry of Industry and Technology in accordance with Article 63 of the Public Procurement Law No. 4734 and published in the Official Gazette dated September 13, 2014 and numbered 29118, 1690 Domestic Goods Certificates were approved by TOBB in June 2021.​

The number of capacity reports approved by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey in June 2021 increased by 876 (24.7%) to 4,428 units compared to June 2020.​

The Meeting of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Energy Council was chaired by Council President Zeki Konukoğlu. At the meeting, the current situation of the sector was evaluated while the working plan of the Council was created.​
