Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Turkey Glassware Council meeting was held via video conference with the intensive participation of industry representatives under the chairmanship of TOBB Executive Board Vice President Ali Kopuz and Council President Murat Kolbaşı.​

Within the scope of the accreditation system efforts of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), "Strategic Planning Training" was carried out with the participation of the Secretaries General and Accreditation Personnel of the 15th and 16th Term Chambers/Exchanges, which are continuing the accreditation process.​

TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council held its meeting online under the chairmanship of Council President Nurten Öztürk. At the meeting, a roadmap was determined by bringing up the projects that the Council plans to carry out in the next term.​

Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Ruslan Kazakbayev visited Faik Yavuz, of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Board Treasurer.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Turkey Glass and Glass Products Industry Council Meeting was held under the chairmanship of Council President Vecdet Salgın with the participation of Ayhan Zeytinoğlu, Vice Chairman of the TOBB Board of Directors in Charge of the Council.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Turkish Air Conditioning Council convened under the chairmanship of Council President Zeki Poyraz with the participation of Selçuk Öztürk, Vice President of the TOBB Board of Directors in Charge of the Council. The main agenda of the meeting, which attracted a lot of attention from industry representatives, was the changes in the Construction Works Procurement Regulation prepared by the Public Procurement Authority and published in the Official Gazette dated September 30, 2020, and the determination of new product lists.​

Prior to the Accreditation Certification Audits scheduled for March-April 2021, accreditation development visits took place via remote connection method to Accredited Chambers/Exchanges of the 1st, 2nd, 5th, 7th, 10th and 13th Terms.​

Under the chairmanship of Özlem Güçlüer, Deputy Chairman of the TOBB Turkish Automotive Industry Council, Sanem Yıldız, Head of the Department of Product Safety and Supervision of the Ministry of Commerce, Hüseyin Alper Türedi, Deputy Secretary General of the TSE, and representatives of the industry within the Council convened to discuss “Areas Requiring Improvements in the Import Inspection Process.”​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Meeting of the Turkish Soil Industrial Products Council was held under the chairmanship of Council President Kadir Başoğlu with the participation of TOBB Board Member Saban A. Karamehmetoğlu.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Turkey Tourism Council Member Osman Ayık and representatives of the Directorate of Sector Councils participated in the Affiliated Members 42nd General Session on 5-6 November 2020 via videoconference.​
