Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Turkish Fairs Council held its first meeting of 2020 under the auspices of Salih Zeki Murzioğlu, a member of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and chaired by Council President Cihat Alagöz in the TOBB Twin Towers.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Fairs Committee convened at the Union headquarters, chaired by Salih Zeki Murzioğlu, a member of the Board of Directors of TOBB. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Turkey Retail Council met in Istanbul to elect the Council Presidential Council and conduct a general assessment of the sector, headed by Cengiz Günay, a member of the Board of Directors of TOBB, responsible for the Council.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) is providing important support for the transportation and logistics sector. TIR Carnet prices, which are 227 TRY for transportation to the European continent, have received a discount of 55%, bringing the price to 102 TRY.​

Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure in an announcement regarding the U-ETDS and Digital Tachograph Data Analysis Project within the scope of the implementation of the stimulation period within the framework of the KTY announced the postponement of the implementation until June 30th, 2020. ​

Turkey Air Conditioning Council Chairman Zeki Poyraz and Council Member Mehmet Şanal visited Deputy Minister of Environment and Urban Development Fatma Varank at her office. ​

Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey Air Conditioning Council has begun preparations for the air conditioning strategy document in order to shape the future of the sector, to shape its growth strategies and to identify those responsible for the actions and actions necessary for them. ​

The Logistics Coordination Council held the last meeting of the year in Ankara under the chairmanship of Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure Selim Dursun. Deputy Minister of Commerce Riza Tuna Turagay, Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology Hasan Büyükdede, TOBB Vice President Tamer Kıran and TIM Board Member Başaran Bayrak attended the meeting, TOBB Truck and ATA Card Director Aslı Çalık gave a presentation on road transportation problems and solution proposals and EU policies. ​

Turkey Spatial Strategy Plan 2nd High Level Guidance Meeting was held in Ankara chaired by Deputy Minister of Environment and Urban Development Fatma Varank with the participation of TOBB Board of Directors Vice President Selçuk Öztürk. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Defense Industry Council Meeting was chaired by Council President Yılmaz Küçükseyhan, with the participation of Mehmet Büyüksimitçi, Member of the TOBB Board of Directors responsible for the Council, Prof. Dr. İsmail Demir, Head of Defense Industry, and senior representatives of Turkish defense and aerospace industries. ​
