The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), Turkey Durable Goods Council 2019 September meeting was held at the TOBB Istanbul Service Building under TOBB Board Member Oğuzhan Ata Sadıkoğlu and Council President Fatih Kemal Ebiçlioğlu with the participation of Councilors. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Board Member Cengiz Günay attended the opening ceremony of the 3rd Çerkezköy Industrial Fair organized in cooperation by the Çerkezköy Commerce and Industry Chamber (ÇTSO) with Trakya Development Agency.​

Turkey Machinery and Equipment Manufacturing Council Meeting was held at the TOBB Twin Towers under the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Board Member Mehmet Büyüksimitci and Council Speaker Mutlu Karavelioğlu.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and the US Chamber of Commerce in cooperation roundtable was held in New York. In the meeting where Deputy Minister of Trade Tuna Turagay was the keynote speaker, Tamer Kıran, Vice President of TOBB, and Khush Choksy, Vice President of the USA made speeches. Attending the meeting were the leading American firms with investments in Turkey or interested in investing in Turkey. Demands and expectations of the company officials regarding the business environment in Turkey were relayed.​

TOBB Chamber / Exchange Council Members Information Seminar was held at TOBB Twin Towers throughout 20-22 September.​

Established by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and Uzbekistan Trade and Industry Chamber, Turkish-Uzbek Chamber of Commerce and Industry Forum held the 1st Turkish Party Meeting at TOBB.​

Turkey Air Conditioning Council’s third meeting of the year evaluating the various topics of the sector, took place with the participation of TOBB Vice President Selçuk Öztürk. The main agenda of the meeting focused on “Heating, Cooling, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Automatic Control Installation Technical Specifications,” with participation from high level representatives of the sector. Touching on in importance of the Specifications document prepared with the broad participation of the sector and accepted by the sector, Council members drew up a roadmap regarding subject. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), Aegean Gas Corporation Chairman İbrahim Akbal was elected to the Turkey Natural Gas Council Presidency, while the Natural Gas Distributors Union Association (GAZBİR) Board Chairman Yaşar Arslan was elected Council Vice President. Reaffirming confidence, Council President expressed his pleasure in having opportunity to undertake greater works together in the new term.​
