Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) has achieved yet another first within international representation. TOBB TIR and ATA Report Manager Aslı Gözütok, has been elected as board member to the Board of International Road transport Union (IRU) based in Geneva.​

TOBB Board Member Salih Zeki Murzioğlu attended Communication Points Training Programme in Ankara organised by Ministry of Economy for informing personnel who work in chambers associated with TOBB regarding supports and applications provided by the Ministry. ​

TOBB Board Member Bülent Karakuş attended the Digital Workshop programme organised in Van. Under the coordination of TOBB and Google Turkey, after Kayseri and Antalya the 3rd stage of Digital Workshop held in Van. The purpose of Digital Workshop is to increase our KOBİs’ technology compliance level and improve their current digital skills, thereby by leveraging their presence within digital platform to enable them to increase their competition powers, to reach out for new business opportunities and conclusively to improve their export capacities. ​

TOBB Board Member Bülent Karakuş, for commemoration of the earthquake which occurred on 9th November 2011, attended the panel held in Van Chamber of Commerce and Industry for “Society Well-prepared for Earthquake”. ​

Hosted by Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey “Seminar for R-D, Design Support and Project Placing” intended for textile, ready-wear and leather goods sectors has been organised under the cooperation of Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology, KOSGEB and İstanbul Development Agency. ​

TOBB Turkey Medical Council discussed regulations regarding products within SGK re-payment context and also period of payments for public and university hospitals. ​

Pursuant to Domestic Goods Communique (SGM2014/35) prepared by Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology as per 63rd article of Public Tender Act no 4734 and became effective by publishing in Official Gazette dated 13th September 2014 no 29118, in October 892 Domestic Goods Certificates had been approved by Chambers and Commodity Exchanges subject to TOBB.​

Organised by TOBB Bartın Women Entrepreneurs, hosted by Bartın Chamber of Commerce and Industry Black Sea Regional Meeting was held in Amasra on 4th November 2017.​

KOBİ Information Website has been visited by 52 thousand 246 people in October 2017. The total number of visitors of the website during the last twelve months is 569 thousand 856.​

Turkey E-Commerce Council meeting held in TOBB İstanbul Service Building under the chairmanship of Council President Öget Kantarcı and participation of Department Head of Banking Regulation and Supervision Ahmet Yılmaz.​
