Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

Tamer Kıran, Vice President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), met with Ambassador Prof. Dr. Kerem Alkin, Permanent Representative of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), and the accompanying delegation consisting of ambassadors of OECD member countries and senior management of the OECD in İstanbul on Thursday evening, March 7, 2024.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Services Council convened at the TOBB İstanbul Service Building under the chairmanship of Council President Hüseyin Bozdağ with the participation of Ali Kopuz, Vice President of the Board of Directors of TOBB.​

Members of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Women Entrepreneurs Council and provincial presidents convened for “March 8, International Women's Day.”​

The number of domestic goods certificates approved in February 2024 increased by 1% compared to the previous month.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) TIR Committee met via video conference with the participation of the members of the TIR Committee, chaired by Mr. Tamer Kıran, Vice President of the Board of Directors.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Turkish Road Passenger Transportation Assembly convened in Istanbul under the chairmanship of Tamer Kıran, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of TOBB, to elect the Assembly Presidency Council and to make a general evaluation of the sector.​

Türkiye Maritime Assembly convened at TOBB Istanbul Service Building under the chairmanship of Tamer Kıran, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of TOBB.​

Within the scope of the Chamber / Exchange Accreditation System studies 1-2-5-7. Process and Risk Management Training was organized in our Union on March 4-5, 2024 for Accredited Chambers / Exchanges. In the training, expectations from process management and risk management within the scope of the new accreditation standard were explained and sample applications were made.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Chamber/Exchange Council Members Information Seminar, covering the days of March 02-03, 2024, started at TOBB Twin Towers.​

The first Western Mediterranean Regional Meeting of the TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Board was held online. Regional representative and TOBB Antalya Women Entrepreneurs Board President Serap Kocaoğlu, TOBB Afyonkarahisar Women Entrepreneurs Board President Funda Güleç Yaman, TOBB Burdur Women Entrepreneurs Board President Sevim Zorlu and TOBB Isparta Women Entrepreneurs Board President Dilek Özdemir attended the meeting. ​
