Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

Şekib Avdagiç, Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), attended the Türkiye-Qatar Business Forum organized in cooperation with TOBB and DEIK. Before the Business Forum, Şekib Avdagiç met with Sheikh Al Thani, President of Qatar Chamber of Commerce. ​

The Road Passenger Transportation Activities Sectoral Consultation Meeting was hosted by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) in cooperation with the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure with the participation of public, private sector and non-governmental organizations at TOBB Twin Towers.​

In January 2024, 1,322 Domestic Goods Certificates were approved by TOBB within the framework of the provisions of the Domestic Goods Communiqué (SGM 2014/35) prepared by the Ministry of Industry and Technology pursuant to Article 63 of the Public Procurement Law No. 4734 and published in the Official Gazette dated September 13, 2014 and numbered 29118. In January 2024, there was a decrease of 17.2% (275 units) compared to January of the previous year.​

Bursa and Bilecik Provincial and District Chambers / Exchanges and Secretaries General Consultation Meeting was held at TOBB Twin Towers.​

The number of capacity reports approved by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) in January 2024 decreased by 8.4% (431 units) compared to December 2023 (5,109 units) to 4,678 units.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Board Member İbrahim Burkay attended the “Water Efficiency Mobilization: Industry-Water Meeting” event.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Chamber / Commodity Exchange Council Members Information Seminar, covering the days of February 03-04, 2024, started at TOBB Twin Towers.​

A presentation on Türkiye's Organized Industrial Zone Experience was made to the Greek business delegation.​

Secretaries General Consultation Meeting was held with Kırıkkale, Kırşehir, Yozgat and Nevşehir Provincial and District Chambers / Exchanges.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Board Member Selçuk Öztürk participated in the visit to Beijing and Urumqi under the chairmanship of Dr. İsmail Hakkı Musa, Ambassador of Türkiye to Beijing.​
