Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Türkiye-Japan Green Industry and Technology Business Forum was held at the TOBB Union Center in collaboration with the Directorate of Foreign Relations and the Directorate of Environment of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB).​

The meeting of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Forest Products Council was held at TOBB headquarters, chaired by Saim Özakalın, a member of the TOBB Board of Directors responsible for the Council, with the participation of high-level representatives from the private sector and civil society organizations.​

The International Road Transport Union (IRU) Customs Affairs Commission (CAD) meeting was held in Ankara, hosted by TOBB. More than 30 representatives from 18 countries attended the meeting.​

TOBB Deputy Secretary General Cengiz Delibaş met with IRU TIR and Transit Director Tatiana REY-BELLET at TOBB.​

The Türkiye Carbon Pricing Forum 2026 was held in Ankara on September 8, 2026. Organized as part of the “Fit for Carbon Pricing - F4CP” project, the Forum addressed topics such as the Turkish Emissions Trading System, the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), and decarbonization in industry.​

The Executive Board of the European Association of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (Eurochambres), where M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), serves as Vice President, met online. Mustafa Bayburtlu, Deputy Secretary General, attended the meeting on behalf of TOBB. ​

The Budget Committee of the European Association of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (Eurochambres) held an online meeting. Mustafa Bayburtlu, Deputy Secretary General, attended the meeting on behalf of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB). ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) held the Türkiye Paper and Paper Products Industry Council Meeting; was held in İstanbul under the chairmanship of Council Vice Chair Sevim Saral Kavruk, with the participation of TOBB Board Members Zeki Kıvanç and Engin Yeşil, Deputy Minister of Trade Mahmut Gürcan, and Director General of Consumer Protection and Market Surveillance Avni Dilber.​​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Telecommunications Council, chaired by Council President Mustafa Kemal Turnacı, convened at the TOBB İstanbul Service Building with the participation of TOBB Board Member Tuncay Yıldırım, Deputy Minister of Trade Mahmut Gürcan, and Director General of Consumer Protection and Market Surveillance Avni Dilber.​

Another important step has been taken toward preserving Tunceli’s local values, highlighting producers’ efforts, and transforming local products into economic value. The Presentation Ceremony for the Tunceli Pülümür Underground Salt Geographical Indication Registration Certificate was held in Tunceli with broad participation from public institutions, professional organizations, producers, and invited guests.​
