Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Women Writing the Future Project Artificial Intelligence Program Graduation Ceremony, carried out in collaboration with the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), Turkcell, and the Türkiye Artificial Intelligence Initiative, was held in İstanbul with the participation of TOBB Board Member Işınsu Kestelli and TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Supreme Council Members.​

The Domestic Product Certificate Regulation Company Information Webinar was held online with the participation of Ceyhan Çelik, Head of the Regulation Department of the Public Procurement Authority, and Mustafa Kemal Günay, Head of the Real Sector Research, Development, and Application Department.​

The Tax Advisory Board of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) convened on December 23, 2025, with the participation of TOBB Board Member Zeki Kıvanç and chaired by Board Chairman Fatih Dural.​

Parviz Sodiki, Deputy Chief of Mission at the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Ankara, and Daler Gairatov, Commercial Attaché, visited the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) and met with Mustafa Bayburtlu, Deputy Secretary General of TOBB. During the meeting, Türkiye-Tajikistan economic and trade relations were discussed. ​

The Turkey-Oman Roundtable Meeting was hosted by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) with the participation of Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion of Oman Qais Mohammed Al Yousef, TOBB Board Member Faik Yavuz, and TOBB Board Member Seyit Ardıç.​

During the first eleven months of the year 2025 the number of newly established Companies and the number of cooperatives decreased by 1,8% and 32,3% while the number of sole proprietorships increased by 11,7% according to the same period of the year 2024.​

As part of the Chamber/Exchange Accreditation System activities, a Quality Management System Basic Documentation and Process Management Training was organized at TOBB on December 17-18, 2025, for the new Accreditation Officers and Secretaries General of Accredited Chambers/Exchanges.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) TIR Committee convened for its final meeting of 2025 via video conference, chaired by Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors Tamer Kıran and attended by TIR Committee members.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Retail Council held its final meeting of 2025 online on December 16, 2025. The meeting began with opening remarks by Cengiz Günay, Member of the TOBB Board of Directors, and Adem Başar, Director General of Domestic Trade at the Ministry of Trade.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Pharmaceutical Industry Council meeting was held in İstanbul, chaired by Council President Nezih Barut, with the participation of TOBB Board Member Seyit Ardıç, representatives of the Uzbekistan Pharmaceutical Network Development Agency, and representatives of the Uzbekistan pharmaceutical industry sector.​
