Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

To mark Turkmenistan’s Independence Day, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) projected the Turkmenistan flag onto the Twin Towers using special lighting. ​

Öztürk Oran, a member of the General Executive Board of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye and Co-Chair of the Türkiye-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Forum, attended the 2nd Azerbaijan International Investment Forum.​

The third meeting of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Women Entrepreneurs High Council for 2026 was chaired by Nurten Öztürk, Chair of the TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council (KGK), with the participation of TOBB Board Member Işınsu Kestelli and members of the High Council.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges Türkiye (TOBB) Food Industry Council convened under the chairmanship of Council President Necdet Buzbaş, with the participation of TOBB Board Member Işınsu Kestelli.​​

The Erzurum Geographical Indications Information Seminar, organized as part of the events marking the 80th anniversary of the Erzurum Chamber of Commerce and Industry, brought together representatives from public institutions, academia, and the industry.​

The Elevator Industry Council of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) held a meeting chaired by Council President Cüneyd Temel.​​​

The 7th meeting of the Digitalization Working Group, organized under the auspices of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Road Transport Associations Union (BSEC-URTA), was held online under the chairmanship of TOBB.​

The TOBB Young Entrepreneurs Council Southeast Anatolia Regional Meeting and the Entrepreneurship Summit in the Age of Artificial Intelligence were hosted by the Siirt Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Yafez Turhan, Chair of the TOBB Siirt Young Entrepreneurs Council.​​

The National Carbon Pricing Expert Workgroup Meeting was held in Ankara. The meeting, coordinated by IKI Türkiye, GIZ Türkiye, and the Presidency for Climate Change, addressed developments regarding the 2026-2027 pilot phase of the Turkish Emissions Trading System (ETS), the EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism, and the national offset mechanism.​

The TOBB Türkiye Retail Council meeting was held in İstanbul in a hybrid format, chaired by Council President Alp Önder Özpamukçu and attended by TOBB Board of Directors member Cengiz Günay.​
