Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

During the first nine months of the year 2025 the number of newly established Companies and the number of cooperatives decreased by 1,1% and 31,4% while the number of sole proprietorships increased by 14,5% according to the same period of the year 2024.​

The “Capacity Report Expert Training” required for experts listed in the Chamber Expert lists who will be assigned to prepare Capacity Reports was conducted online.​

As part of the Chamber/Exchange Accreditation System activities, New Accreditation Standard Training was organized at TOBB on October 13-14, 2025, for the 9th and 12th Term Accredited Chambers/Exchanges that will undergo Development Visits. The training covered the requirements of the new accreditation standard under the categories of Basic Competencies - Basic Services - New Generation Services - Exchange Activities. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) participated in two important sessions at Busworld Europe 2025, held in Brussels, Belgium.​

A consultation meeting was held between the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) and the Ministry of Trade to discuss cooperation and sustainability issues related to the “Smart SME” program and digital transformation processes.​

As part of the Chamber/Exchange Accreditation System initiatives, a Strategic Planning Training was held at TOBB on October 9-10, 2025, for the 9th and 12th Term Accredited Chambers/Exchanges.​

TOBB University of Economics and Technology Rector Prof. Dr. Yusuf Sarınay attended the 2025-2026 Academic Year Opening Ceremony held at the Presidential Complex.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Medical Council meeting was attended by TOBB Board Member Seyit Ardıç, Deputy Minister of Health Assoc. Prof. Dr. Şuayip Birinci, TİTCK President Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ayar, TİTCK Vice President Eray Kaplan, Deputy Director General of Health Services Yusuf Akdoğan, TÜSEB Turkish Cancer Institute President Prof. Dr. Burak Civelek, KHGM Procurement Methods and Purchasing Department Head Musa Korkut, and HSGM Environmental Health Department Head Ömer Bircan, chaired by Sector Council President Levent Mete Özgürbüz.​

The Tax Advisory Board of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) convened under the chairmanship of Board Chairman Fatih Dural, with the participation of TOBB Executive Board Vice Chairmen Ender Yorgancılar and Tamer Kıran, TOBB Executive Board Member Zeki Kıvanç, and Muhsin Atcı, Chairman of the Tax Inspection Board of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance.​

The meeting of the TOBB Türkiye Machinery and Equipment Manufacturing Council was held in Ankara, chaired by Council President Kutlu Karavelioğlu and attended by TOBB Board Member Mehmet Büyüksimitci, who is responsible for the Council.​
