Business ethics and compliance practices seminar held online

The Gateway to Sustainable Trade in International Competition: Business Ethics and Compliance Practices Seminar was held online. In the seminar held on the internet in the organization of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, TOBB members and stakeholders were informed about business ethics and compliance issues and the advantages that activities in this field will provide to institutions, especially in international competition, were explained. In addition, the basic elements of an effective ethics and compliance program were mentioned and the questions of SMEs on the subject were answered at the end of the seminar.​

In cooperation with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), a workshop on “Supporting the Improvement of the Representation of Women in Boards of Directors in Turkey: Legislation and Regulations,” was held in Ankara.​

During the first five months of the year 2022 the number of newly established Companies increased by 16,7% with respect to the same period of the previous year

During the first five months of the year 2022 the number of newly established Companies and the number of cooperatives increased by 16,7% and 19,2% while the number of sole proprietorships decreased by 13,4% with respect to the same period of the year 2021. ​
