EU-Turkey Climate Policy Dialogue Workshop held

The European Roundtable on Climate Change and Sustainable Transition (ERCST) and the Climate Research Association (IAD) were organized jointly as part of the EU -Turkey Climate Policy Dialogue Project. Green Deal Action Plan, Border Carbon Regulation Mechanism and Fair Transition Mechanism were discussed.​

15th Meeting of Value Creating Women Entrepreneurs held

Chaired by Nurten Öztürk, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Women Entrepreneurs Council President, the 15th meeting of TOBB Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Council was held with TOBB Bilecik and TOBB Şanlıurfa Women Entrepreneurs Council with the participation of TOBB Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Council Executive Committee members and Provincial Council Members.​

“How to Keep Up With The Green Transformation” webinars continue

“How do we keep up with the green transformation” webinar was held online. The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Packaging Council President Mustafa Tacir, Waste and Recycling Industry Council President Ali Kantur, and the Plastics, Rubber and Composite Industry Council President Yavuz Eroğlu spoke at the webinar opening and discussed the issue for sectors.​

Furniture Products, Forest Products and Paper Products Councils informed about Green Deal

A webinar addressing “How to Keep Up with the Green Transformation” was held online. Ercan Ata, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Furniture Products Council, Orhan Kahraman, Vice President of the Council of Forest Products, and Sedef Zaimoğlu, Advisor to the Council of Paper and Paper Products Industry, spoke at the webinar opening and discussed the issue from the perspective of the sectors.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Turkey Free Zones Assembly Meeting convened under the chairmanship of Council Edvar Mum with the participation of Ayhan Zeytinoğlu, TOBB Board Directors Vice President in Charge of the Council and TOBB Board Member M. Cihat Lokmanoğlu.​

Number of Domestic Goods Certificates approved in the first 9 months of 2021 increased by 4% compared to the same period last year

According to the Domestic Goods Communiqué (SGM 2014/35), prepared by the Ministry of Industry and Technology in accordance with Article 63 of the Public Procurement Law No. 4734 and published in the Official Gazette dated September 13, 2014 and numbered 29118, 1259 Domestic Goods Certificates were approved by TOBB in September 2021.​

Turkey Energy Council convened with the participation of Deputy Minister Tancan

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Energy Council convened with the participation of TOBB Board Member Zeki Kıvanç, chaired by Council President Zeki Konukoğlu as well as Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources Abdullah Tancan and broad participation council members consisting of public, private and non-governmental organizations.​

TOBB Education Council Presidential Council paid a congratulatory visit to Minister of National Education Prof. Dr. Mahmut Özer, Deputy Minister Ahmet Emre Bilgili and Director General of Private Education Institutions Abdullah Süslü in their new duties.​

Number of Industrial Capacity Reports Approved in the First 9 Months of 2021 Increased by 17.4% Compared to the Same Period Last Year

The number of capacity reports approved by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) in September 2021 increased by 3.6% (150pc) to 4,352 units compared to September 2020.​
