Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Tax Advisory Council of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey convened via video conference on February 22, 2022 under the chairmanship of Fatih Dural, Council President, with the participation of TOBB Board Member Zeki Kıvanç. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Council Value-Adding Women Entrepreneurs 35th meeting was held with TOBB Kilis and TOBB Kocaeli Women Entrepreneur Councils.​

TOBB Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Council 9th Region West Marmara Regional Meeting was held on 22.02.2022 hosted by Çorlu Chamber of Commerce and Industry.​

Ali Kopuz, Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), attended the General Assembly of the Press Advertising Agency via video conference. ​

In order to increase the speed of service and improve the quality of service offered in the rooms, “MERSİS Signature Data and Authorization Acceptance Procedures Module Training” was carried out online on 22.02.2022 with the participation of TOBB and Ministry of Commerce General Directorate of Internal Trade and 550 personnel from 238 trade registry directorates.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) organized a webinar on “Rediscovering Livestock in Turkey and Determining Ways of Cooperation between France and Turkey” in cooperation with the International Unit of the French Business Movement (MEDEF International).​

TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council Central Anatolia Regional Meeting was held on February 18, 2022 hosted by Kayseri Chamber of Commerce and TOBB Kayseri Women Entrepreneurs Council President Tuğbahan İlgü.​

Within the scope of chamber/exchange accreditation system studies, Strategic Planning Training was organized at the Union center on February 9th-10th, 2022 for 3rd and 8th Term Accredited Chambers/Exchanges and February 16th-17th, 2022 for 11th Term Accredited Chambers/Exchanges.​

The number of newly established companies increased by 16,6% while the number of cooperatives and the number of sole proprietorships decreased by 3,8% and 27,0% according to the previous month.​

In September 2019, “Station Mersin”, one of the satellite centers of “Facebook Station”, the community center where Meta, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and Habitat Association were launched in Istanbul, was opened.​
