Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Board Treasurer Faik Yavuz attended the 40th Ordinary General Assembly of the Association of Vegetable Oil Industrialists. ​

The delegation of the Indonesia-Turkey Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group visited the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) as part of its visit to Turkey. At the meeting, TOBB Board Member Oğuzhan A. Sadıkoılu discussed Turkey-Indonesia relations with the chairman of the delegation, Muhammad Farhan, and the members of the delegation. ​

Oğuzhan Ata Sadıkoğlu, Member of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), attended the 33rd Ordinary General Assembly meeting of the Turkish Contractors Association (TMB), which was attended by Trade Minister Ruhsar Pekcan and Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu. ​

Members of the Turkish Wing of the Turkey-Kosovo Chamber of Commerce and Industry Forum convened via video conference.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Patent and Trademark Regents Council convened via video conference under the chairmanship of the TOBB Board Member Hakan Ülken and Council President Kemal Yamankaradeniz.​

Within the scope of chamber/exchange accreditation system efforts, Accreditation System Orientation Training was organized with the participation of newly appointed Secretaries-General and Accreditation Officers of the Chambers/Exchanges. Activities, revisions, stages of the accreditation process and the general outlines of the accreditation standard from the time the accreditation system was implemented in our Union were explained. ​

Within the scope of chamber/exchange accreditation system efforts, Accreditation System Information Training was organized with the participation of 15th and 16th Term Chambers/Exchanges on March 23-24, 2021. In the training, the accreditation standard was explained to the 15th and 16th Term Chambers/Exchanges in the accreditation process and information was given about their obligations under the articles. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) met via video conference to discuss the issues on the agenda of the sector with the participation of industry representatives, headed by Özer Matlı, TOBB Board Member and Turkish Food Industry Council President Necdet Buzbaş.​

The first meeting of the Mediation Board was held under the chairmanship of Hakan Öztatar, Director General of Legal Affairs of the Ministry of Justice, with the participation of Hasan Çağlayan Dündar, TOBB Presidential Advisor and Head of the Real Sector R&D and Implementation Department. The council met with the agenda of evaluating the problems and solutions of the mediation institution, evaluating the status of the mediators who have been audited and reading the Arbitration Activity Report for 2020. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Chemical Industry Council convened via video conference under the leadership of TOBB Vice President Ayhan Zeytinoğlu and Council President Timur Erk.​
