Cengiz Eroldu elected TOBB Turkey Automotive Industry Council Chairman

GS1 calls on companies from Turkey to “show the production process to consumers”
With the GS1-128 Barcode System, companies can offer the consumer's knowledge of the products they produce from the first stop to the last moment. GS1 Turkey authorities urged all companies to use this application to reassure consumers. The first application came from Metro Turkey. The company started to implement this system and presented the story of the meat to the end consumer with details of its arrival at the table. GS1 Turkey said in a statement that this application will increase transparency for companies emphasizing that it should be evaluated for all productions.

Machinery Technical Specification in the Official Gazette
Turkey Climate Control Council, in coordination with the Mechanical Engineers Chamber and the Turkish Plumbing Engineers Association, eight sections of the Machinery General Design Technical Specification of the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, which was prepared in a period of over three years with the intensive follow-up and work of sectoral associations and expert engineers in our country, were published in the Official Gazette dated January 19, 2020 and numbered 31013. Work is underway for the remaining sections.

Capacity Report Appraiser Training completed
Capacity Report Appraiser Training was conducted at TOBB, which is mandatory for those who will be assigned to organize capacity report from the appraisers listed in the Chamber Appraiser lists. 36 expert engineers from 20 Chambers participated in the Appraiser Training. In the capacity report appraiser training organized on the requests of chambers, participants received training from experts of TOBB Industrial Directorate regarding the definition, history of, and areas in which Capacity Reports are used; the contents of the report; the meaning of the standard texts in the report; how to fill the required areas; capacity principles and capacity criteria, as well as issues to be considered in practice.
