Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Turkey Health Services Council met at the Ankara Union Center under the chairmanship of TOBB Board Member Öztürk Oran to elect the Council President and to consult on the current issues of the sector.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Board Member and Turkish-TRNC Chamber of Commerce Forum Turkish Side Co-Chair M. Cihat Lokmanoğlu met with Turkey-TRNC Chamber of Commerce Forum TRNC side Co-Chair Alp Cengiz Alp at TOBB.​

The Meeting of the Turkish Telecommunications Council was held at TOBB Istanbul Service Building under the chairmanship of TOBB Board Member Oğuzhan Ata Sadıkoğlu and Council President Rıdvan Uğurlu.​

The Turkish Education Council Meeting was held in Ankara at TOBB Social Facilities, chaired by Council Chairman Dr. Yusuf Ekinci, with the participation of senior representatives of public and private sector organizations.​

The Union of Chambers and Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Turkey Chemical Industry Council convened at TOBB to elect the Council President under the chairmanship of TOBB Vice President Ayhan Zeytinoğlu and to consult on the current issues of the sector.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Turkey Plastic, Rubber and Composite Industry Council convened at TOBB to elect the Council President under the chairmanship of TOBB Vice President Ayhan Zeytinoğlu and to consult on the current issues of the sector.​

In accordance with the Domestic Goods Communiqué (SGM 2014/35), prepared by the Ministry of Industry and Technology in accordance with Article 63 of the Public Procurement Law No. 4734 and published in the Official Gazette dated September 13, 2014 and numbered 29118, 1,171 Domestic Goods Certificates were approved by TOBB in February 2020.​

According to the 2019 fair statistics announced by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB); 482 national and international fairs were held throughout Turkey. Of these, 475 were in specialized fairs and 7 were in general fairs. 349 national and 133 international fairs were held in 2019. The total number of visits reached 25,828,251, of which 719,267 were foreigners.​

The number of capacity reports approved by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) in February 2020 increased by 12% (389 units) to 3,632 units compared to February 2019.​

The Union of Chambers and Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Chamber/Commodity Exchange Council Members Information Seminar was held at TOBB Twin Towers. TOBB Secretary General Mustafa Saraçöz, who gave the keynote speech of the seminar, wished the participants success. The seminar provided information about the corporate structure and subsidiaries of TOBB. ​
