The number of newly established companies and sole proprietorships increased by 13,21%, and 18,53% while the number of cooperatives decreased by 3,60% according to the previous month.​

Turkey Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges (TOBB), Defense Industry Sector Council Meeting took place with TOBB Deputy Secretary General Cengiz Delibaş and Council Chair Yılmaz Küçükseyhan presiding at the Union Center Social Facilities Conference Hall. The meeting was attended by the Undersecretary of Defense Industry. Dr. Ismail Demir and senior representatives of Turkish defense and aerospace companies.​

Turkey Cement and Cement Products Elective Council meeting was held under TOBB Board Member Hakan Ülken.​

TOBB Turkey Ecommerce Council convened under the chairmanship of the Council Chair Öget Kantarcı.​

The 11th Logistics Coordination Council meeting was held in TOBB chaired by Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications Undersecretary Suat Hayri Aka. During the meeting held with the participation of TOBB Deputy Secretary General Cengiz Delibaş, Undersecretary of Customs and Trade Cenap Aşçı, Ministry of Economy Undersecretary İbrahim Şenel, Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology Undersecretary Veysel Yayan, Deputy Undersecretary of the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization Fatma Varank as well as senior bureaucrats, Deputy Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications Orhan Birdal gave a presentation about construction of a logistics center near the airport and application errors and deficiencies in the cargo transportation at old airports.​

Information regarding “Turkey Automotive Supply Summit” was provided at the meeting held under Council Chair Mehmet Dudaroğlu with the participation of Science, Industry and Technology Minister Faruk Özlü in Bursa on April 11, 2018.​

The workshop where the “Draft Regulation on the Amendment of the Regulation on the Principles and Regulations to be Implemented in Retail Trade,”as a part of the Law No. 6585 on the Arrangement of Retail, which includes arrangements for meal cards, was held at TOBB under the chairmanship of Ministry of Customs and Commerce Deputy Undersecretary İsmail Yücel and the participations of Director General of Domestic Trade of the Ministry of Customs and Trade Adnan Yankın, TOBB Deputy Secretary General Cengiz Delibaş, Domestic Trade, Ministry of Customs and Commerce Assistant General Manager Adem Başar.​

Regulation Draft Workshop on Properties Trade was held under the chairmanship of İsmail Yücel, Deputy Undersecretary of the Ministry of Customs and Commerce with the participation of General Manager of Customs and Commerce Ministry of Commerce Adnan Yankın, TOBB Assistant Secretary General Cengiz Delibaş, Ministry of Customs and Commerce Assistant General Manager of Domestic Trade Adem Basar, as well as the representatives of Real Estate Chambers, Real Estate Consultants, Real Estate Federations and other related sector parties.​

TOBB Vice President Selçuk Öztürk, accompanying President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan as a part of his Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea official visits between April 29th - May 3rd, 2018, attended the Korea-Turkey Business Forum after Uzbekistan with a delegation of businessmen.​

TOBB Vice Presidents Halim Mete and Selçuk Öztürk, accompanying President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan as a part of his Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea official visits between April 29th - May 3rd, 2018, attended the Uzbekistan-Turkey Business Forum held in Uzbekistan's capital, Tashkent, on April 30, 2018.​
