Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

EUROCHAMBRES TOBB and Polish Chamber of Commerce delegations participating in the European Companies Assembly in Brussels met at the TOBB Brussels Representative Office.​

The TOBB Delegation led by TOBB Board of Directors Vice President Salih Zeki Murzioğlu participated in the European Companies Assembly held in the European Parliament General Assembly Hall. TOBB Board Member Hakan Ülken, TOBB EU Harmonization Commission President Göksel Başar, President of Bolu Chamber of Commerce and Industry Türker Ateş, President of Isparta Chamber of Commerce and Industry Şükrü Başdeğirmen, President of TOBB European Women Entrepreneurs Network Mülkiye Aytar and TOBB EU Department Head Mustafa Bayburtlu took part in the delegation.​

The promotion meeting regarding Movable Chattel Mortgage for Commercial Transactions was organized through Ministry of Commerce, Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey and Kars Chamber of Commerce cooperation and hosted at the Kars Public Education Directorate Conference Hall. ​

The promotion meeting regarding “Law No. 6750 regarding Chattel Mortgage Business Transactions" implemented on January 1, 2017, was organized through Ministry of Commerce, Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey and Trabzon Chamber of Commerce cooperation to provide businesspeople and bank representatives with information. ​

The promotion meeting regarding “Law No. 6750 regarding Chattel Mortgage Business Transactions" implemented on January 1, 2017, was organized through Ministry of Commerce, Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey and Erzurum Chamber of Commerce cooperation and hosted by the Erzurum Chamber of Commerce. ​

TOBB Board Vice President Ali Kopuz attended the Hungary-Turkey Business Forum in Budapest, Hungary, with the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Hungarian Prime Minister Victor Orban's participation.​

The 8th Meeting of the Digital Tachograph Steering Committee was hosted by TOBB. At the meeting held with the participation of tachograph manufacturers, associations and other stakeholders of the sector, international developments related to the digital tachographs, the problems related to the implementation of the digital tachographs, the problems related to the road safety and the related proposals was negotiated by stakeholders. ​

The 15th meeting of the Regional Development Cooperation Platform was held on October 4th in Gaziantep. Attending the meeting were members of the Chamber and Regional Agencies of the Platform (Şanlıurfa, Adıyaman, Antakya, Osmaniye, Kilis, Kahramanmaraş Chambers of Commerce and Industry) as well as Union Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Board Member Zeki Kıvanç and TOBB Department Head Hasan Erbay.​

TOBB Turkey Glass and Glass Products Industry Council, under the chairmanship of Council Chair Gizep Sayın with the participation of TOBB Deputy Secretary General Cengiz Delibaş and wide participation of senior representatives of the public, private sector and civil society organizations.​

TOBB Turkey Machinery and Equipment Manufacturing Council Meeting was held in Istanbul under Kutlu Karavelioğlu.​
