Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

Inspection Training of Geographically Marked Products was carried out at the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB). Attending the training program were TOBB Real Sector R&D Application Chief Fatih Soysal, Head of TSE Documentation Center Alper Veyisoğlu, TSE Food Sector Manager Nihal Sayar, Turkish Patent Institute Brand Expert Neşe İloğlu as well as Chambers / Commodity Exchanges Presidents, Secretaries General and Geographical Marker authorities.​

TOBB Turkey Durable Consumer Goods Council was convened in Ankara under Council Chair Fatih Kemal Ebiçlioğlu.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey approved 2,820 capacity reports in December.​

The 33rd Assembly of the Turkish Defense Industry Council took place under the chairmanship of the Council Chair Yılmaz Küçükseyhan with the attendance of Deputy Undersecretary of Defense Industry Dr. Celal Sami Tüfekçi at the TOBB Twin Towers to conduct year-end evaluation of the sector with the participation of Ministry officials and councilors.​

The SME Information Site received 69,992 visitors in December 2016. The number of visitors to the site between January 2016 - December 2016 (a period of 1 year) was 528,532.​

TOBB Turkey Natural Gas Council meeting was held with highest level of representation from public and private sectors under the chairmanship of Council Chair İbrahim Akbal.​

The “Administrative Assistant Training” for the personnel of the Chambers Commodity Exchanges has been completed by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB).​

TOBB Turkey Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) Council meeting was held in Istanbul to discuss sectoral problems. During the meeting, current problems in the LPG sector, solution proposals and legislative changes were discussed.​

Minister of Science, Industry and Technology Faruk Özlü stated they would support IPA Project Leader Commodity Exchanges.​

TOBB Board Member Memiş Kütükcü attended the 25th ordinary meeting of the National Work Health and Safety Council at the Ministry of Labor and Social Security.​
