Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Turkish Automotive Industry Council convened to discuss current developments in the sector. During the first part of the meeting held under Deputy Council Chair Osman Sever, information about the 'Digital Transformation Platform of the Industry' was provided by TOBB Sector and Entrepreneurship Department Chief Ozan Acar, which will be run by TOBB's Advisory Board.​

Turkish Plastic, Rubber and Composite Industry Council Meeting was held at TOBB Twin Towers with the participation of Ender Yorgancılar, Vice Chairman of TOBB Board of Directors and Council Chair Yavuz Eroğlu.​

The İstanbul Arbitration Center (İSTAC), which had been operating since a year ago as an autonomous institution subject to private law provisions, informed public institutions at a conference organized at the Constitutional Court Conference Hall in Ankara. TOBB Vice President Ender Yorgancılar and the Constitutional Court Chair Dr. Zühtü Arslan were also present at the meeting.​

The meeting of the Turkish Chemical Industry Council was held at TOBB, presided over by Council Chair Timur Erk.​

TOBB Turkey Energy Executive Council conducted a courtesy visit to the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources (ETKB) Fatih Dönmez. Council Chair İhsan Akyol gave information about the structure of the Turkish Energy Council, the general state of the industry and its expectations.​

TOBB Turkey Energy Executive Council visited Mustafa Yılmaz, the EPDK President. Council Chair Ihsan Akyol briefed EPDK President Mustafa Yılmaz about the Council.​

Elif Bilgehan Müftüoğlu, the Director of GS1 Turkey Foundation, which was established by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), has been elected to the European Region Executive Board of GS1 which cooperates with nearly 2 million establishments in 170 countries, an international organization founded to monitor exchange of goods via various standards, barcodes as a primary example, as well as generating solutions. Forty-seven member states participated in the elections held in Paris.​

Initiated by TOBB-IT with the support of TOBB and the Ministry of Economy as a part of the Soft_Away Project, the first of a series of TOBB IT Meetings took place at the TOBB Conference Hall.​

The number of newly established companies, cooperatives and sole proprietorships increased by 3,99%, 37,50% and 12,46% respectively, according to the previous month.​

Turkey Free Zones Council convened at the TOBB Twin Towers to review the Draft Law on the Amendment of the Free Zone Act No. 3218 in Regards to Changes to Various Decrees being discussed by the TGNA Industry, Commerce, Energy, Natural Resources, Information and Technology Commission. ​
