Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Chamber/Exchange Council Members Information Seminar spanning December 9th and 10th, 2023 started at TOBB Twin Towers.​

“A memorandum of understanding was signed between the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) and Enterprise Greece within the scope of the 5th Meeting of the Türkiye-Greece Joint Action Plan High Level Cooperation Council held in Athens.​

In November 2023, 1583 Domestic Goods Certificates were approved by TOBB in accordance with the Domestic Goods Communiqué (SGM 2014/35) prepared by the Ministry of Industry and Technology pursuant to Article 63 of the Public Procurement Law No. 4734 and published in the Official Gazette dated September 13, 2014 and numbered 29118.​

TOBB Türkiye International Health Tourism Council held the first of the International Health Tourism Regional Meetings hosted by İstanbul Chamber of Commerce in order to bring Türkiye to the place it deserves in health tourism and to identify obstacles and solutions.​

Türkiye-Turkmenistan Business Forum was held in Ashgabat on December 6, 2023 in cooperation with the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), Turkmenistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry and DEIK.​

The number of capacity reports approved by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) in November 2023 increased by 4.9% (227) compared to November 2022 (4,646) and reached 4,873.​

The Workshop on Medical Device Technical Service Regulations was hosted by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Medical Council and chaired by Council President Levent Mete Özgürbüz, with the participation of Turkish Medicines and Medical Devices Agency (TİTCK) Vice President Mehmet Hakan Fırat, TİTCK Medical Device Certified Installation and Clinical Research Head Department Fatih Topuz, TİTCK Medical Device Sectoral Services Department Head Servet Sarıhan, and, TİTCK Medical Device Registration and Coordination Department Head Ömer Faruk Kuru.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Board Member Seyit Ardıç attended the Bosnia and Herzegovina National Armed Forces Day Reception hosted by Bosnia and Herzegovina Ambassador Adis Alagiç. Metin Gürak, Chief of the General Staff, Ambassadors serving in Ankara and citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Türkiye were also present at the reception. ​

Ali Kopuz, Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), met with Dr. Gohar Ejaz, Minister of Commerce of Pakistan.​

Ali Kopuz, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), attended the opening ceremony of the 39th Ministerial Meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation (COMCEC) held at the İstanbul Congress Center under the chairmanship of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. ​
