Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

At the meeting chaired by Seyit Ardıç, Member of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), Matthew Axelrod, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Export Enforcement at the US Department of Commerce, and accompanying US representatives met with Turkish companies.​

Tunisian representatives, who were hosted at the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) together with the delegation of the Ministry of Trade regarding the Automation System for Certificates of Origin and Circulation (MEDOS), were informed about the TOBB MEDOS software.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Technical Consultancy Council visited Afire Sever, Director General of Water Management, Hamdi Güleç, President of the Public Procurement Authority and Bekir Karacabey, Director General of Forestry in their offices to discuss sectoral issues.​

The Waste and Recycling Industry Council of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), chaired by Cengiz Delibaş, Deputy Secretary General of TOBB, visited Çetin Ali Dönmez, Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology, in his office.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Board of Directors Treasurer Member Faik Yavuz attended the General Assembly of Umumi Mağazalar Türk Co Inc (UMAT).​

Ahmet Nedim Erdem, Chairman of the TOBB Insurance Adjusters Executive Committee, said that with the application that entered into force, insured and beneficiaries can view the insurance expert reports issued for their vehicles within the scope of Traffic and Kasko insurance through the e-Government application.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Retail Council meeting was held via video-conference under the chairmanship of Alp Önder Özpamukçu, President of the Council, with the participation of Cengiz Günay, TOBB Board Member responsible for the Council.​

In the first 6 months of 2024, compared to the first 6 months of 2023, the number of companies established decreased by 17.3%, the number of real person commercial enterprises established decreased by 34.9%, the number of cooperatives established decreased by 8.8%.​

“Sectoral Schools Consultation Meeting” was held with the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), MoNE General Directorate of Vocational and Technical Education and Pre-Applicant Private Sector Enterprises.​

The Software Council of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) visited the President of the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye (TÜBİTAK) Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal in his office.​
