Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

In cooperation with the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) and the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, a Moto-Courier Workshop was organized at TOBB Twin Towers to discuss the position of moto-courier activities on legal grounds.​

Türkiye - Germany Economic and Trade Joint Commission (ETOK/JETCO) 4th Term Meeting was held with the participation of Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat and German Minister of Economy and Climate Protection Robert Habeck.​

The International Conference on Mutual Recognition of Halal Certificates was held in İstanbul within the scope of the “Raising Awareness on Multilateral / Mutual Recognition in the Axis of OIC/SMICC Halal Standards” Project, organized in cooperation with the Halal Accreditation Agency and the Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.​

In the presence of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhammedov, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) and the Turkmenistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the establishment of the “Türkiye-Turkmenistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Forum.”​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Board Member Ş. Aziz Karamehmetoğlu attended the 4th Tbilisi Silk Road Forum held in Georgia on October 26-27, 2023.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Creative Industries Council meeting was held in İstanbul with the participation of TOBB Board Member Işınsu Kestelli and under the chairmanship of Council President Ali Ata Kavame.​

The Twin Towers of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) were illuminated with the Turkish Flag and Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's photograph on the occasion of October 29th Republic Day and the 100th anniversary of the Republic. ​

TOBBUYUM and the Turkish Catastrophe Insurance Pool (TCIP) cooperated to resolve the disputes of citizens who suffered losses due to disasters in a short time and effectively.​

During the first nine months of the year 2023 the number of newly established Companies and the number of sole proprietorships decreased by 5,1% and 23,0% while the number of cooperatives increased by 73,3% with respect to the same period of the year 2022.​

TOBB Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Council and TOBB Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Council Executive Committee elections, which were established to ensure the development and sustainability of the entrepreneurship ecosystem, were held on October 19, 2023 in Chambers and Commodity Exchanges under the coordination of TOBB.​
