Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

Mustafa Saraçöz, Secretary General of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), met with Aysun Önet İleri, Secretary General of the Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Commerce (KTTO). During the meeting, Türkiye-TRNC trade and economic relations, TOBB-KTTO activities and Türkiye-TRNC Chamber of Commerce Forum activities were discussed. ​

In the year 2024 the number of newly established Companies, the number of sole proprietorships and the number of cooperatives decreased by 10,2% 18,4% and 16,5% respectively according to the same period of the year 2023.​

The Capacity Report Expert Training, which must be taken by those who will be assigned to issue a Capacity Report from the experts on the Chamber Expert lists, was held online.​

TRNC “Creative Touch to the Economy Panel” was held in Nicosia within the scope of “Let's Talk Orange” activities hosted by the Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Commerce in order to draw attention to Türkiye's potential in the field of creative industries, to increase communication and cooperation between sectors, and to strengthen communication between public institutions and organizations in Türkiye and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and sector representatives.​

TOBB Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Council Western Black Sea Regional Meeting was hosted by Karabük Chamber of Commerce and Industry.​

Entrepreneurship Summit was hosted by TOBB Ordu Women Entrepreneurs Council at Ordu Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the presence of Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, Minister of Family and Social Services, Muammer Erol, Governor of Ordu and Mehmet Hilmi Güler, Mayor of Ordu Metropolitan Municipality.​

The Türkiye-Mongolia Business and Investment Meeting was held at the TOBB Conference Hall with the participation of Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Development of Mongolia Luvsannyam Gantumur and Faik Yavuz, Treasurer of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB).​

TOBB Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Council Marmara Regional Meeting was held at Sakarya Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted by TOBB Sakarya Women Entrepreneurs Council President Elvan Bilgehan Dikici and executive committee members.​

The Green Transformation in Industry Protocol Signing Ceremony and Promotion Meeting was held with the participation of Murat Kurum, Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, Mehmet Fatih Kacır, Minister of Industry and Technology, and Mustafa Varank, Chairman of the TBMM Committee on Industry, Trade, Energy, Natural Resources, Information and Technology.​

“Türkiye-Iran Cooperation Meeting in the Field of Agriculture” was held at the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB).​
