Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

During the first four months of the year 2025 the number of newly established Companies and the number of sole proprietorships increased by 0,4% and 17,0% while the number of cooperatives decreased by 24,8% according to the same period of the year 2024.​

The meeting of the Energy Council of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) was held via video conference under the chairmanship of Zeki Konukoğlu, Chairman of the Council, with the participation of Zeki Kıvanç, Member of the Board of Directors of TOBB.​

Selçuk Öztürk, Member of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), attended the 8th Meeting of the Türkiye-Uzbekistan Intergovernmental Joint Economic Commission (KEK) held in Tashkent under the co-chairmanship of Deputy President of the Republic of Türkiye Cevdet Yılmaz and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance of Uzbekistan Jamshid Kuchkarov.​

The Capsule Technology Platform, implemented by Konya Metropolitan Municipality, hosted an important event within the scope of the Pergel Fellowship Program. Hasan Çağlayan Dündar, President Advisor of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), who came together with the young people participating in the program, explained the activities of TOBB and its projects for young people in a comprehensive manner.​

The launch of the Women’s Hand in Industry Project initiated by TOBB Kahramanmaraş Women Entrepreneurs Board was held at Sütçü İmam University with the participation of TOBB KGK Vice President Fatma Aydoğdu and TOBB Hatay Women Entrepreneurs Council President and Eastern Mediterranean Regional Representative Yeşim Ugutmen.​

Nurten Öztürk, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Women Entrepreneurs Council, attended the Women’s Empowerment Strategy Document and Action Plan Monitoring and Planning Meeting held under the chairmanship of Süreyya Erkan, General Director of the Status of Women of the Ministry of Family and Social Services, with the participation of Leman Yenigün, Deputy Minister of Family and Social Services.​

The second Uludağ Environment Forum, organized by the Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BTSO) to raise awareness on sustainability and green transformation in the industry, was hosted by Bursa Business School on May 13-14, 2025.​

The fifth of the TOBB Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Council Value Adding Women Entrepreneurs Meetings was held in the Eastern Black Sea Region under the chairmanship of TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council President Nurten Öztürk.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) participated in the Goods and Passenger Transport Councils and the General Assembly of the International Road Transport Union (IRU) held in Geneva, Switzerland on 8-9 May 2025.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Creative Industries Council meeting was held in İstanbul under the chairmanship of Council President A. Ata Kavame, with the participation of TOBB Board Member Işınsu Kestelli and TOBB Board Member İbrahim Burkay.​
