Çanakkale Station, which is the latest of the community centers which signed protocols in Samsun, Denizli, Kırklareli, Adana, Mersin, Van, Trabzon, Bursa, Ankara and İzmir after Facebook Station in Istanbul and is considered one of Facebook's biggest investments in Turkey, will host a series of trainings and workshops focusing on bringing together people, communities and businesses in Turkey and digitization of the country's economy.
The online protocol signing ceremony held in Çanakkale Technopark was attended by TOBB Board Member Cengiz Günay, Facebook Turkey Public Policy Department President Çağatay Pekyörür and Çanakkale Governor Ilhami Aktas, Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Rector Prof. Dr. Sedat Murat, Habitat Association Chairman Sezai Hazır and Canakkale Commodity Exchange President Kaya Üzen.
Facebook Turkey Public Policy Department Head Çağatay Pekyörür, TOBB Board Member Cengiz Günay, Çanakkale Governor Ilhami Aktas, Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Rector Prof. Dr. Sedat Murat, Habitat Association Chairman Sezai Hazır, Çanakkale Commodity Exchange President Kaya Üzen gave speeches at the event.
Çanakkale Station aims to provide different social groups and communities with a physical space to share ideas and work, while at the same time supporting businesses in the city to reach global markets and assist individuals in finding employment.
