Fertilizer Tracking System evaluated

Presided over by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Turkish Agricultural Council President Ülkü Karakuş, a meeting was held with the participation of TOBB GS1 Turkey Foundation Chair Elif Bilgehan Müftüoğlu, Sectors and Entrepreneurship Department Head A.Saygın Baban, Turkish Sector Councils Director Ahmet Altıntuğlu, the Association of Fertilizer Producers Importers and Exporters Chairman Metin Güneş, the Board of Directors of Antalya Organized Industrial Business People's Association Chairman Hakan Pakalın and fertilizer producer member of the Council.​
At the meeting, the Fertilizer Monitoring System, established in order to track all stages of fertilizer production, from the packaging stage and delivery to end user, was evaluated.
Information was given about the purpose of fertilizer tracking system, monitoring and barcode system. The problems experienced in the two-dimensional barcode system and proposals for solutions were expressed, while the creation of plans for TOBB and GS1 which could reduce costs were discussed.
