TOBB Board Member Cengiz Günay said in his opening speech that with this meeting, the sector council has joined 27 new members to take part in the new term, that they are trying to provide solutions to the problems related to the sector by reaching the relevant authorities, and that they aim to bring the added value of the sector with value-added projects to be carried out while reflecting the vision of the public sector with the power to be taken from sectoral diversity in the new term of the council. Günay also thanked the past management for their work and expressed his wish for success to the new administration.

As a result of the election held at the meeting, Dimes General Manager Ozan Diren was elected to the Presidency of the Turkey Beverage Industry Council. Mey Beverage Corporate Affairs and Legal Manager Ahmet Yazıcıoğlu became Vice President.

At the meeting, problems such as off-record-economy, taxation and GEKAP related to the sector were expressed by the members and general evaluation was made.

On the other hand, the Turkey Beverage Industry Council decided to meet again as soon as possible in order to create a council working agenda with sub-working committees for the quick resolution of problems and to determine the new method of working.
