The 14th Turkish Speaking Entrepreneurs Program, initially started in June 2005, organized in cooperation by TOBB and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in order to strengthen bonds with Turkish speaking entrepreneurs in the Balkans, Eastern Europe, Caucasia, Middle East, Central Asia countries, Germany and Russia has started.​

 

The Turkish Speaking Entrepreneurs Delegation which attended TOBB’s 67th General Assembly convened in a meeting with the TOBB Deputy Secretary General Ali Emre Yurdakul. Also attending the meeting were representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, National Education Ministry, KOSGEB and TİKA. Following presentations on Strong Chambers System and TOBB’s international activities, the OSTİM Zone Directorate was introduced and business requests were collected.

- Guest entrepreneurs from 24 countries and 4 autonomous regions

The program has been attended by 455 businessmen and businesswomen from 24 countries and 4 autonomous regions to date. This year’s program will host 45 entrepreneurs from 20 countries and 4 independent regions (Bashkortostan, Gagauzia, Tatarstan). The overall number of participants to the program has reached 500.

The 14th Turkish Speaking Entrepreneurs Program started on May 19th, 2012 will take place in the provinces in Ankara, İstanbul, Afyonkarahisar and Denizli and will end on May 30th, 2012.

Participants are active in various business branches in their respective countries, including; construction, textiles and ready-made garments, food and food machinery, furniture, construction and installment equipment, automobile subsidiary industry, cosmetics and sanitary products, tourism, investment projects, law and counseling.

It is the goal of the program that the commercial potential of the participants in their various countries and the opportunities to cooperate with Turkey. There will be several seminars and workshops organized by the Ministry of Economy, KOSGEB, TOBB-ETU and DEİK.
