In February 2021, the Number of Industrial Capacity Reports increased by 10.5% compared to February 2020

The number of capacity reports approved by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) in February 2021 increased by 383 (10.5%) to 4,015 compared to February 2020.
Of the 4,015 capacity report approved in February, 1,135 were in İstanbul, 303 in Bursa, 254 in Ankara and İzmir, 208 in Konya, 138 in Gaziantep, 127 in Kocaeli, 101 in Adana, 82 in Tekirdağ, 77 in Denizli.
The total number of active capacity reports in the TOBB Industrial Database increased by 3,585 (4.7%) from 76,419 in February 2020 to 80,004.
According to Active Capacity Reports, the total number of employees increased by 122,224 (3.8%) from 3,204,292 in February 2020 to 3,326,516 in February 2021.
Capacity reports are compiled by local Chambers and approved by TOBB for: utilization of bench, device, machine and motive force in processing raw materials, semi-and complete products, property, content, composition or shape in full or in part; for businesses that produce a new product in serial or standard, and for those who operate and operate underground resources and produce software with information technology.
