They discussed the upcoming activities of the Turkish-Arab Chamber, which was established between TOBB and the Arab Chambers Association in 2016. Details of the next Joint Board Meeting of the Turkish-Arab Chamber were discussed.
In addition, a presentation was made by TEPAV Project Coordinator Ayşegül Taşöz Düşündere about the report titled “Design of Economic Cooperation Program for the Turkish-Arab Chamber: Inclusiveness through Complementarity” prepared by TEPAV.

The Association of Arab Chambers (UAC) was founded on 16 December 1951 at the Arab Chambers Conference. The union, which has 21 members, is headquartered in Beirut, Lebanon.
The “Turkish-Arab Chamber (TAC) Founding Agreement” was signed by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and the Association of Arab Chambers (UAC) in Istanbul on November 24, 2016. The Joint Chamber established with the Arab Chambers Association, the umbrella organization of the private sector of the Arab League countries, aims to increase the cooperation between the two chambers, thus bringing the trade and economic relations between Turkey and Arab countries to even better levels.
