Of the 4,986 capacity report approved in March, 1442 were held Istanbul, 314 in Ankara, 313 in Bursa, 305 in Izmir, 227 in Konya, 178 in Kocaeli, 167 in Gaziantep, 118 in Manisa, 109 in Adana and Denizli.

The total number of active capacity reports in the TOBB Industrial Database increased by 2,835 (3.6%) to 80,780 units from 77,945 in March 2020.

According to the Active Capacity Reports, the total number of employees increased by 109,270 (3.4%) from 3,245,664 in March 2020 to 3,354,934 in March 2021.

Capacity reports are compiled by local Chambers and approved by TOBB for: utilization of bench, device, machine and motive force in processing raw materials, semi-and complete products, property, content, composition or shape in full or in part; for businesses that produce a new product in serial or standard, and for those who operate and operate underground resources and produce software with information technology.
