In his opening speech TOBB Vice President Ali Kopuz said that the sector's export data released last month. Kopuz stated that glassware exports reached an all-time record of 1 billion 388 million dollars in the first quarter, an increase of 26.1 percent compared to the same period last year, and congratulated all sector stakeholders for this success.

Yenidelhi Trade Attaché Aysun Timur, Mumbai Trade Attaché Hüseyin Aydın and DEİK India Business Council President Tevfik Dönmez briefed Council Members on the Indian economy, bilateral trade, risks and opportunities.

At the meeting, Dr. Onur Yüksel, General Manager of TOBB Compliance Mediation and Dispute Resolution Center, informed Council Members about the services of the national and international mediation and dispute resolution center based on technology and mastering the business world in Turkey.

Councilors also discussed the problems in the supply of glass caps and the prohibition of the sale of non-food products in grocery stores and consulted on the actions that can be taken on the issues.

In the last agenda item of the meeting, an informational presentation was made by İstoç Businessmen's Social Assistance and Solidarity Association (İSTOÇDER) of the Council Member Associations.
