Also attending the meeting in addition to Turkish and TRNC members, was Ergün Olgun, Special Representative of the Turkish Cypriot President.
Following the opening speeches delivered by the two Co-Chairs, Ergün Olgun briefed the participants on the 5+1 Informal Cyprus Conference in Geneva. Later in the meeting, priority issues were discussed within the scope of the Turkey-TRNC Chamber of Commerce Forum Action Plan, and members of the two sides expressed their opinions and suggestions.
The Turkey-TRNC Chamber of Commerce Forum was established in 2018 by TOBB and the Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Commerce (KTTO). The Turkish side of the Chamber is determined by the President and its members TOBB, and the TRNC side is determined by KTTO. Annual economic summits, joint board meetings, business forums, business meetings and efforts to improve Turkey-TRNC business relations constitute the main areas of work of the Turkey-TRNC Chamber of Commerce Forum.
